பள்ளிக்கல்வித்துறை அமைச்சர் ராஜ்மோகன் Indian Institute of Management and Technology என்ற கல்வி நிறுவனத்தில் டிப்ளமோ பெற்றதாக தனது affidavit-இல் கூறியுள்ளார். அந்த கல்வி நிறுவனத்தின் வலைத்தளத்தில் குறிப்பிட்டுள்ள முகவரியில் அப்படி ஒரு நிறுவனம் இருப்பதாகவே தெரியவில்லை!

A TASMAC shop may shut overnight. Even now in districts like Pudukkottai, liquor remains available almost 24x7 through a parallel network like how it happened in the previous government. Even before TASMAC shops officially open at noon, alcohol is available from as early as 8 am in several areas, with bar facilities used by early morning drinkers who are majorly workers and office-goers. So while shutting TASMAC outlets near colleges and temples is being welcomed, the deeper problem remains. In past many places where shops were closed after protests, nearby FL2 bars simply replaced them, often through political influence. Drinking did not reduce only the location changed. At the same time, bottles are unofficially resold at Rs 50 to Rs 100 extra even in small petty shops in grooves keeping an illegal liquor economy alive round the clock.
