What have we achieved? What is the end game? How far are we to getting than endgame? When will it be complete? If you can’t answer these questions, I am afraid more skepticism is warranted. 3/3

healthy skepticism. At the very least it requires questions. We are two weeks in to this campaign with left ball Tarrar gleefully sharing casualty numbers and right ball Mosh getting in what he considers his zinger soundbites that will do his Toronto uber driving days proud 2/3

There is nothing wrong with nationalism. But there is something wrong with hiding behind the flag for following contradictory military strategies in five year cycles with fake indignant “WELL WE REALIZED OUR MISTAKE AND ARE FIXING IT!!”. This convenient schizophrenia requires 1/3

@PakiSwift It is even more unfortunate that the state has made no efforts to unify its people. these 3 parties only care about nationalism when they're in power.

@PakiSwift that 1 state institution has done so much irreparable damage to that 1 party that people can’t seem to distinguish state from government. Survival of the state from survival of the government. hatred for that 1 state institute has brewed its way through. A terrible tragedy.

@PakiSwift You’re throwing the term around a lot. Nationalism allows the citizens of the state to criticise state policies. It is fascism that discourages it. These 3 and that 1 state institution think nationalism is absolute loyalty to the gov where in fact the state ≠ gov

@iCreaze @talhaahmad127 You just maligned him by calling him from Chishtian, it's beginning to hurt me now. For god's sake do proper research before clicking "post/reply" on X.

Khwaja Farid (often quoted as the quintessential Seraiki poet) of Chishtian, Bahawalnagar referred to his own language as Punjabi. Now, I’m willing to understand that if his descendants no longer see themselves as speaking Punjabi, then that’s fine with me.

@talhaahmad127 @oneagentboi3924 britishers wrote theyʼre the same, if anything siraiki is closer to sindhi than punjabi, they even considered it a separate language (not a dialect)
