@CrunchTime4L I think it's worth it, here's a comparison. Left sniper doesn't use it and will have that rainbow effect if I'm in their sweet spot range, the one on the right is using anti-glare and is much more hidden.

Hard to ask for good changes since new players think it will ruin the fun for them. Sweet spot should either be nerfed to 90-95dmg max to retain the 2-shot kill in redsec or removed entirely. Sniper flinch if headshotted while using a high-powered scope should throw my aim off significantly. Improve the effectiveness of the long range ammo so that snipers in general can have slower velocities (to remove that "hitscan" feel) and still retain the long range potential. And last but not least: make new snipers NOT BE A DIRECT DOWNGRADE TO AN EXISTING ONE 😓

Agree. The Sweet Spot mechanic necro'd from BF1 shouldn't of made it into BF6. Add sniper flinch back from BF4. It's mind blowing how you can shoot AR/LMG's down range to snipers, hit them w/ rounds and they're still able to "stay on target" and able to hit you w/o being suppressed or flinched while you're moving around shooting them. L115 and Mini Scout are "hit scan" weapons just like the Rorsch Mk-4 Rail Gun in BF2042. It's so easy to hit headshots w/ them. Plus, there's a current headshot hit box "bug" on the range targets where if you shoot the upper most corners of the target, it registers as a headshot. That's wild. Unintended bigger headshot hit box.

So the L115 has a sweet spot of 120m-175m, less than 900m/s velo to make it the 2nd worst sniper for long range, and at 300ms makes it the slowest to ADS. Sweet spot range has some benefits for Redsec and big maps. Guess I'm just using it because it's iconic and looks cool.

I wanna give a shoutout to Team Warfare Network for designing the most elegant fix to the vehicle spawn camping issue in Battlefield 6. Air vehicle spawn camping has been fixed by giving the player two options. Air Deploy, which spawns the air vehicle at a random location within your teams air spawn area (rectangle on map), or HQ deploy, which spawns the vehicle in base. They have also moved these rectangles further back, which prevents lucky spawns, such as lib peak, where the new spawn player often gets to instantly kill the living player with no warning (no air radar, spawn to combat distance is minimal). Ground vehicle spawn camping is less common but also fixed by giving the player a choice between a forward deployment, and a HQ deployment. This is such a well thought out system, and fixes an issue that has existed in every Battlefield game that I can remember. Even in BF4 with air spawns, they were completely campable. Not a sponsored post, I just love this design so much. This design should be implemented into the basegame. I have not forgotten about the "Recon Guide" deep dive video that I wanted to put out last year, things have just been bugged or completely broken for too long to do it. Hopefully will be worth the wait, aiming for after Season 4 release but will try sooner. L115 added just now.

@Unity_Hitman Sweet spot damage can be dropped from 100 to 90 to maintain the 2-shot kill in redsec (unfortunately you have to consider redsec for balance since it's not separate). No more "CoD" sniping this way, you either land a headshot or the enemy was damaged for the kill.

@Unity_Hitman Not only would lower velocity make bullet drop more noticeable and require a better understanding of leading a shot, but with less impact on bullet drag you'd still have similar timings for long range sniping. Add flinch on top when getting shot while scoped in.
