I don’t even know how to start this post. I’ve put it off for days because our hearts are so broken and it hurts so much. As we watched the floods take lives in Valencia we were already feeling so much sadness, I personally felt strained and silently struggling only trying to imagine what parents were going through as they looked for their kids in the storms. Spirits already low and tired the unimaginable then happened as beautiful Marsha died on the table just as her spay was complete. We don’t know why, there was no signs, everything had gone well but she left us and the vets couldn’t bring her back. They tried for half an hour as they themselves were devastated. Watching her little body that had already lost a leg give up just like that just broke us. A punch to the chest so hard as just hours before she hopped so happily into the vets cuddling everyone as she passed by. She trusted us so much, why did this have to happen? We are animal rescuers with fragile but strong hearts and this was just too much. I’m so sorry Marsha, the happiest little hopper ever. Especially large wings for you as you fly over the bridge. May you start the next part of your spiritual journey with the same smile that lit up every room you entered. RIP Marsha 🌈

It’s been a really sad day 💔 Velvet was rushed in for an emergency C-Section and despite our best efforts all the pups have died, some had already passed when born. Mum Velvet has made it through but is very sad. We did ring the local perreras to see if they had newborns with no mum but all the pups were too old. Velvet was rescued just last week and we don’t know anything of her history. All we can do is focus on her future. We are so sorry Velvet that your fabrics were not meant for this world. They were meant for something much brighter 🌈

These two sweet girls were put in the Perrera by the same owner. It broke our hearts the thought of leaving Esme the bracken / German pointer behind just because she’s not a galgo so of course we took them both. We would love to see them go to a home together and we hope you will share to help that dream come true but if not the two could be separated as long as they were with other dogs in the home. Esme the bracken is 7yrs old and the galga who is called Gitana is just 3yrs old. How adorable are they? 🥰

Beautiful so sweet peoples evil and wickedness is just too much for me to comprehend, my 3 Spanish girls now live the sweet life after being abandoned and the street life they said it's definitely a sweet life xx thanks for all you do xx
