Our kids got to watch a rocket launch with astronauts to the moon and we got planes in the twin towers. Maybe there is hope for the world.

@CTS1630 @philthatremains My brother was normally at JBLM. But he was crew chief or something on the chinooks. I don’t know his actual job. But it was so stressful when he would leave and you just have no idea what’s going on. 😭

I was an Army brat (and veteran) but graduated high school at Ft. Campbell long ago and many of my friends fathers were pilots with the 160th. We used to go off base and watch them do the Red River runs at low altitude at night and it was impressive. Doubt they do those any more since the Clarksville area has grown up so much. My best friends dad was a CW4 who flew the 47.

There is no one on earth who wants the recognition less, and there is also no one on earth who deserves the recognition more. I’ve flown alongside Eric for 18yrs. We grew up in Army Aviaton and in the 160th together. We’ve been brand new PIs, BMQs, FMQs, and FLDs together along the way. He is the consummate quiet professional. By the grace of God and the skill of the greatest team on earth he’s still with us. Eric I’m proud to have fought alongside you and even more proud to call you my friend. Nightstalkers Don’t Quit

@philthatremains Delta combat patch; I expected him to be a Nightstalker. I’m utter confounded, that actually found a CW5, showed him on National Television, and gave him the CMH. I mean what’s next Bigfoot and a Grey compete in the Olympics.

@CTS1630 @philthatremains And is probably not enjoying the attention because the less eyes on them the better they are able to perform. My brother retired from the 160th. I’m thankful he came home every single time because so many have not.

It's a USASOC patch. Special Operations Command. He is not "Delta" but he has likely flown them many times as part of the 160th Special Operations Aviation Regiment based at Ft. Campbell, KY. They are the helicopter aviation equivalent of Delta Force. The best of the best is no exaggeration and to be a CW5 is no small feat on its own. That guy could probably land a mosquito on the tip of a needle.

I finally got to go out and see one of the structures I’ve been working on getting documented as landmarks. 🥰🥰

I'm usually not one to complain... but I've been trying to get ahold of someone at The Alamo for months and have had no luck whatsoever and they have what I need in their collection and I'm getting really frustrated.

Are we talking about Victoria’s talk about the Book of Kells here or is there another platform for this discourse that I should be on?

@vivstan211240 Eric picked it up this morning and was looking at it and didn’t realize you helped consult with Outlaw King, which is one of our faves. So I’m sure he’ll end up reading it too. :)

@vivstan211240 @StoryScotland Just ordered it! So excited! I know it will. We loved our visit to Bannockburn and then I really enjoyed chatting with you and by that alone, I know it’s going to be really good!
