@nectar my receipt for 64.44 shows 0 points added for the shop even though the card scanned ok. A 5x voucher was also used and for some reason this didn’t register either although I guess 5x 0 is 0? Can you advise why 0 points for quite a substantial shop?

The World Cup has turned America into a discovery channel for the rest of the world. And they are not handling it well. In the best possible way. Here is what they are discovering: Free public restrooms. Europeans pay every time. Free water at every restaurant. Just appears. Free refills. Coffee. Sodas. Iced tea. Unlimited. Free chips and salsa before you even order. Free warm bread with dinner. Ice in drinks like civilized people. Air conditioning everywhere. Not a moral debate. A fact. Parking lots attached to the actual place you are going. Drive throughs where the food comes to the car while you sit in it. Ranch dressing by the gallon. Tex-Mex that cannot be explained only experienced. Dental care that actually works. Buccee’s. There are no words for Buccee’s. Then they found the grocery stores. Five of them within one mile. Each one the size of an aircraft hangar. Burgers. Steaks. Brisket. Ribs. Pulled pork. Lamb. Veal. Every cut of every animal ever domesticated by human civilization available in one refrigerated aisle at ten in the morning on a Tuesday. The Germans stood in the meat section for forty five minutes. In silence. Processing. They finally understand why we do not have trains. We have roads wide enough for the cars we actually drive. Parking lots the size of small European countries. Airports in every city worth visiting. Why would we need trains. The Germans are taking ranch home by the bottle. The Dutch found queso and briefly lost the ability to speak. The Japanese are photographing HEB like it is the Louvre. The Czechs are weeping in West, Texas. Welcome to America. Everything is free, enormous, air conditioned, comes with chips, and has five grocery stores within a mile that will sell you any cut of any animal you have ever imagined. Write that down. 🦋

The same people that are yelling about injustice in sentencing of 4 activists never said a word about a cone thrower getting 2+ years, or a rapist walking free… go figure… 🤷🏼‍♀️

I’m so irritated by everything today due to this stupid rain that I’ve forgotten Bess’s lead. The final 100 yards of this walk are by a dual carriageway. So we’ve had to turn around and retrace our steps along the river

@Mattisamazing33 While staying in Wales at a hotel in a small village in the west Brecon Beacon fringe recently, a group of 9 french motorcyclists rocked up… all in their sixties… men and women… the only thing they had changed for their older ‘touring life’ was the style of bike…

Last night when I was trip planning I wondered how many years motorcycle tours I have left in me. When you’re young life seems to go on forever but in your fifties life goes by like you’re in the Cooper’s Hill cheese rolling contest

@RafHM 1.5mllion+ homes are to be built on the habitat of this nature… the bank notes will be the only way some people have of ever seeing them…

The Bank of England DELIBERATELY FIXED the fake "public vote" to remove ALL historical figures from bank notes & replace them with nature images Freedom of Information requests by the Telegraph reveal the decision to remove historical figures was based on a "focus group" of a mere 119 people The Bank LIED because it previously claimed the decision was based on a "public vote". In truth, however, even this vote was FIXED. Instead of having HISTORY v NATURE, the bank deliberately split the "history" category into 3 sections: historical events, historical figures, architecture & landmarks. That was the only way that "nature" could win. However, of course bank notes always combine at least two of those history categories. For example: Churchill & Parliament or Wellington & Waterloo. The Bank's actions are indefensible and questions should be asked in the House. The Bank of England has clearly been captured by progressive woke ideology. A visit to the Bank of England with its permanent exhibition on slavery makes that clear This is part of the wider war on British history. It's an attempt to create a NEW BRITAIN, based on ridiculous myths that "Diversity Built Britain" and that Britain has always been multicultural. Remember: the Bank of England issued a 50p coin (held aloft by Rishi Sunak) which was imprinted with the nonsensical statement: "Diversity Built Britain" Anyone who lived behind the Iron Curtain will find all of this eerily and scarily familiar. The pulling down of statues, the renaming of streets and schools, the rewriting of history, denigrating heroes, changing bank notes etc....these were all tactics of the communists. Severing the connection between a people and their history is the best way to demoralise a society and prepare them for the imposition of new myths. Me on @GBNews:

@Mattisamazing33 I have had stew, then some in a pie (occasionally a pasty), and then some in a lasagnstew or bolstewnese… the Law of Stew is almighty and generally pretty mercurial… (fyi the pie stew will benefit from the Law of Baked Beans)…

Is anyone an expert in the Law of Stew? I have some stew I made yesterday. Can I put it in some pastry, bake it, and have it as a pie? Is that against the law?
