When I decided to really get into aviation photography I had two goals. 1. Take decent photos 2. Make my kit as light as possible. As far as goal 2 goes I don’t think I can do much better than this. What you see here (with the exception of a battery charger and spare batteries, they’re in the bag) is my entire setup for spotting, photography, and editing. That’s it. This is what I travel with. All told (not counting the phone) I’ve got about $1200 put into this setup. Sony RX10 IV, Apple USB C SD Card reader, iPhone 16 Pro, Uniden BC125at with aftermarket antenna, and a Besnefoto bag (with a cool patch) to store it all in. I don’t know if anyone is interested but I’m bored and I thought I’d take the time to share.
