Has anyone on the leadership scale moved from the NEU to the NAHT and seen any actual benefit? Just trying to decide if it's worth the effort.

The 6.5% pay rise suggested by the government for the next three years would be a real-terms pay cut for teachers and leaders if inflation and average earnings across the wider economy rise as predicted. bit.ly/48Q2Rpn

Our evidence submission to the STRB makes clear that competitive real-terms pay improvements, workload reduction and fairer accountability are essential to attract graduate entrants, as well as retain leaders and teachers in the profession. Read our full response here: bit.ly/4nzkjlR

Ofsted’s revised framework is harmful, unsafe and unworkable. We're calling on the inspectorate to stop and rethink. A better way is possible. Other parts of the UK already use more constructive, less damaging approaches to inspection. Find out more and join our campaign: bit.ly/43j0HuC

⚠️ Act now for fairer. safer inspection We're calling on Ofsted to halt the introduction of its revised framework and rethink its approach in light of evidence that its plans will damage school leader mental health & well-being. Get involved - send a letter to your employer 👉 naht.org.uk/Ofsted

Primary schools receive a ‘Compare your good level of development (GLD)’ report from DfE. It compares actual GLD to a contextual estimate based on demographics. If they can do this at EYFS, maybe could do same at KS2 and do away with RBA. 🤔 gov.uk/guidance/compa…

@grange_head I’ve sacked mine off too. Far too soon after framework and Ofsted. Rather focus on the SDP and build up SEF over time. Feels nice!

I was planning on updating the SEF for FGB next week. We're not "in the window", and with the new framework just being released, I'm thinking to not bother. Would you write a SEF, or wait for the new framework to hit the ground first?
