A startup I’d love to see: AI powered therapy Why? - Therapy is massively beneficial, yet mostly inaccessible for anyone outside the upper-middle class. - LLM tech today can likely outperform the median therapist already. How? - Client intake form which collects information about the person in conversational form (could collect data on personality type (Myers-Briggs, Enneagram, etc), attachment styles, DiSC, etc. - Vertical LLM trained off of a large dataset of anonymized psychotherapy sessions, ideally with diverse therapeutic approaches and clients. - Specific model training around serious scenarios (suicidal thoughts, self-harm, harming others, etc) such that these cases are “referred out” to a therapist. - Multimodal (can have a conversation via voice or text) - Client information saved in a vector DB like Pinecone so it can recontextualize the LLM on new conversations. Other cool things about this: - Clients could easily switch treatment modalities without having to spend weeks “recontextualizing” a new therapist. e.g. want to switch from CBT to psychodynamic to humanistic, no problem, each new “therapist” already knows your whole background. - LLM therapist could intermediate disputes or relationship problems between separate individuals with profiles on the app, taking into account their distinct personalities without “leaking” information between them (basically asynchronous couples therapy)

One of the coolest planned cities in the world is Karlsruhe, Germany which was founded In 1715 by Charles III William. The city was planned with the palace tower (top of pic) at the center and 32 streets radiating out so that Charles could see everything happening in the city.
