@pranavpradhi1 @sidhant You wanted the journalist to fall into the trap laid by Rubio, further damaging relations. Naming an incumbent President would have triggered a diplomatic disaster. His job was to ask the question, and he did that without any hesitation.

Another aspect that I’m surprised no one has noticed yet is how journalism failed here. An Indian journalist, @sidhant, can’t even name the person he was hinting at. Just a few days ago, there was a hue and cry over Helle Lyng’s comments on press freedom in India, and now a journalist in his own country can’t name the U.S. president. This is reflective of the fact that we have no press freedom. Also, the journalist is from Godi media and is so conditioned that he can’t even name Trump as it would make his masters in India very angry. So, there it is.
