New tools mostly just accelerate the people you were already competing with.
What I’ve seen is, outside the X bubble, people are still just watching TikTok/Netflix.
Most of the vibe coding non tech people I know haven’t shipped anything in 6 months

the idea that everyone wants to build a software company but has been held back by technical barriers until now is silly this problem was already solved with venture capital and grant funding non-technical founders with business ideas raise funding and build it no serious entrepreneur has been sitting on great business idea for 30 years they couldn't execute because they weren't a coder

- no one knows how to estimate/project this spend for the quarter, let alone the year
- finance teams are taking screenshots of admin usage dashboards
- AI token cost will outpace salaries
- OAI/Ant/Google are not incentivized to help you
- it's the fastest growing and least understood line item in every company's budget right now

AFAIK all the big labs are operating at loss, and Alphabet/Microsoft may have profitable AI businesses but they're not AI native.
