@ian_drifted That area is covered by the Louisville office but from looking at this image, what is seen in velocity is actually a radar artifact called side-lobing.

Hey @NWSIndianapolis think it’s time to drop a higher warning on the cell south of Alton. There’s clear signs of tornadic rotation.

Insane hook echo on the #supercell south of Alton. First prospect of the day; if rotation can tighten of the velocity couplet it could drop.
