@apegames @buffer For BlueSky tapping on the link doesn't work (I assume because X breaks it), you have to search in BlueSky for apegames (no space).

APE Games
APE Games@apegames·
APE is also on FB (apegames), Insta (ape.games), Bluesky (apegames.bsky.social) and Threads (ape.games). I use @buffer for interacting with socials, and I can only have a limited number of socials through that app, I'll not be posting on X as much.

@apegames @bluesky I see your question was about x, not BlueSky. X is increasingly a home if and representative of behaviours and values I don't really want to associate with.

I'd like to know what people think of X as a platform for me to continue talking about APE Games. I've read a lot of about privacy on @Bluesky and think it's time for me to build an audience there. APE doesn't often make videos, so Tik Tok and Youtube are out.

@apegames @bluesky I'm mostly on BlueSky and I find it to be a better community. I think I'm getting close to being off Twitter/x completely, there are few of the main people I follow that are not on BlueSky.

@LewSOS Tbf, this does sound like a legitimate reason for immigration action. I don't know why they can't just refuse entry, but trying to go back to work without a green card sounds wrong. Even if you do have "some" documents

@LewSOS Act justice spokesman Todd Stephenson with the quiet bit etc. saying it was “outrageous” that someone “completely disengaged and lazy can rock up to the voting booth, get registered there and then, and then vote to tax other people’s money away”.

@LewSOS Yeah, I reckon that the likes of Jago already get that structural advantage, but when Old Mate down the road gets found Not guilty the charge is still the first thing you find when you google him

@ian_pop This is just structural advantage for people wealthy enough to fund years and years of appeals (as in the Jago case)

Nah this looks like an actual good case for suppression It is just cast in a bad light by the many previous bad cases of suppression

@LewSOS Let's do it the American way. Let's see mugshots on arrest. Suppression creates speculation.

@LewSOS There may well be a good reason not to, but I think I'd prefer blanket name suppression until conviction.

@ian_pop Why though? I don't see how you could have any strong basis for this view on the facts so far in public

@snarky_mk @LewSOS I accept that it can bring forward other victims and that is a good thing. But personally I'd prefer other investigative methods and more weight to innocent until proven guilty.

@ian_pop @LewSOS There’s been repeated instances over the last few years of publicity leading to more victims coming forward. The system isn’t perfect but gets it right most of the time.

@LewSOS I'm not talking about this case, that was just the prompt. In all/most/many cases the accusation sticks, which undermines innocent until proven guilty.

@VFTLpodcast @dannykellywords @JackPittBrooke @JamesTMaw Is Spurs' player spending reasonable? If we (I) accept that it is a £5bn business and needs to make a return, are their expenses appropriate? And what is the league table ceiling for a club being run as a business (hopefully higher in a PSR league)

@Economissive Burkina Faso played here in the late 90s(ish) in the under 17(?) world cup. The only time I'd heard of them
