@PjSmith382 @MarkJSewards Peter you should know better than anyone it's an absolute must to have cycle lanes in and around Leeds. Indeed in the last 5 years of commuting leeds ring road from Moortown to LS8 I haven't seen one cyclist using the cycle lane! Forward planning that 🤷‍♂️

@MarkJSewards All well said. However, we have been waiting >30 years for mass transit. It is pathetic. Add the ineptitude of the current mayor of West Yorkshire who is making transport into the city and the train station impossible, you will understand if we don’t get too excited.

Mowing at Lord's around 1900 with a (then) state of the art mechanical mower. Other major grounds also bought machines like this but for the less wealthy it continued to be horse-drawn mowers for the outfields

It’s been a long, lonely and extremely dark 6 months. At the start of November, the greens were ravaged with Fuzz after two weeks with no sunlight. It’s taken a lot of work but we’re somewhere near to where we’d like to be. I won’t easily forget this period but we push on 💪🏼
