The number of people I encounter who can’t explain their (generally “good”) jobs and/or what their spouses do is staggering. I’d love to see people try to describe what they actually do for a living in a single 280 character tweet in a way that the average person can understand.

Indeed. Whenever Jews are attacked (typically by Muslims), it is important to redouble our efforts to fight against Islamophobia.

So you mean to tell me, an airplane can go right through the World Trade Center that had steel structure beams of 4 inch plate every 40” using 12 different grades of steel with a yield strength of 100,000 psi but if the same plane were to run into a firetruck on a runway the plane is completely destroyed. Got it!

I really need a printer that has zero screen, wifi, or bluetooth connection. I just want to be able to plug a usb cord printer --> computer Hit print, and have it actually work every time

Thinking about the time our high school English teacher gave us a poem to analyse When we finished she told us it was Donald Rumsfeld’s WMD press conference, and that was the class

🚨UPDATE ON MY DAD'S JOURNEY: I am fighting the medical system, the state, and my own family just to protect my dad in his darkest hour. If you have ever had to fight for a parent, you know how hard this is. Thank you to everyone standing with me. First, I want to say a massive thank you for all the love, prayers, and support you’ve shown so far. I am deeply appreciative of every single one of you. Thanks to your generosity, we were able to cover his rent and bills for this month. Dad is officially out of the hospital. We had hoped he would be transferred to a live-in acute care rehab facility where he would receive 5 hours of physical and speech therapy a day, but he was unfortunately denied. He has been moved to an assisted living facility instead, where he is only receiving 1 hour of therapy a day. The doctors have shared that the prognosis for a full recovery is not very good. He still cannot speak, stand, eat, drink, or move on his own, and he relies entirely on a G-tube for nutrition. We finally got his basic Medicare sorted out, but without supplemental insurance, he is still responsible for massive hospital/medical bills. We are also facing the reality that the state will likely seize his assets to pay for his long-term care at the facility. Our next immediate task is clearing out his hoarder house and finding storage for his belongings. To complicate an already heartbreaking situation, I am facing severe family roadblocks regarding access to his home to begin the clearing process. I am now forced to hire a lawyer to ensure my dad's best interests, his assets, and his care plan are legally protected. Because of the mounting medical bills, the upcoming costs of moving and storage, and now these unexpected legal cost, I am keeping the fundraiser open. If you are able to continue sharing the link or can donate, it would mean the world to us. I also strongly believe in the power of prayer, so please keep my dad in your prayers during this difficult time. God bless you all, and thank you again from the bottom of my heart. spot.fund/c9fbtkjst
