Wrapped up 7.5 years at Stripe last week. Can’t say enough about that place or the people there, and never been more bullish on the business. Will miss it greatly! Planning to take a break to do some travel/gardening.

The argument du jour seems to be CLI vs MCP... Folks, we want both. If you're in a shell env (Claude Code), CLI is great. If you're in a hosted, browser env (ChatGPT), MCP is great. Both CLI and MCP usage are growing quickly at Stripe. Complements, not substitutes.

We built claimable sandboxes so that your agent can build your Stripe integration _before_ you've signed up, delaying that interruption until later. There are many other such interruptions that we're working to remove :)
