Extremely disappointed with @indianrailway__ train delayed by 10.30 hrs. No cooperation from staff, AC stopped at 3.40am night, not selling water/food when rests. No water in bathroom. You should also have travel insurance like airlines. Immediate drinking water needed at H1 - 3

This tweet and the pics reminded me my luck in early 80s. Thanks to @howto9to5 I had a BARC job, good salary but was not enough to support my big family back home. I wanted to send more money home and wanted to earn more by doing tuitions while working in BARC. A filthy rich Marwadi lady who owned a building in Shivaji Park, hired me for teaching her son in 4th std. She said salary is not a constraint but warned that her son changed 3 teachers in last 12 months. She advised me to keep him happy at any cost to continue. I was determined to keep him happy. Within a week I found a formula that worked well. 1. I had to do his home work in a handwriting that looked like his. 2. I had to eat majority of “Nasta” put in that study room for him while I was teaching. He said otherwise “I will be forced to eat” and he requested for support. 3. I had to tell stories to him to keep him entertained. He loved humor. Studies he hated. Those days no internet. I did all 3 to his satisfaction. Initially agreed 300 Rs jumped to 600 Rs once his mother saw him happy. One year went and I was feeling guilty that I am not honestly teaching. I expressed my interest to discontinue, but that only resulted in again doubling the tuition fee. The irony was my full-time BARC job fetched me only 1000 per month while a tuition for one hour a day gave 1200 per month. I was also offered a car pick up and drop. They had many cars. I did it for 1983 and 1984. I sent a lot of money home. Paid college fees for Siblings. I ate nutritious food a lot. 47 kgs to 60 kgs in 24 months. I perfected my English. I had Tamil Medium. I became the “story teller” 😂😂😂) He learnt nothing from me. Did not clear even 12th standard. Fast forward after 30 yrs, they became poor. My wife offered a job as a IT hardware technician in my “Thyrocare”. I felt very bad for his mother. My punch line : Life is made up of two innings. 35 years each. If first innings all pleasures, then second innings all pains. Vice versa. 1 or 2 % can be exception. Only when parents understand the true difference between “Parenting and Pampering” the family and country will have prosperity. Parents should “Learn fast. Learn first.” My mother gave me nothing but freedom. Parent. Do not Pamper.

Is pampering your kids actually hurting them? Dr. Velumani warns that overly pampered children are more likely to develop a sense of entitlement and arrogance. But this issue is deeper than just being "spoiled." Let's explore. 👇 #Parenting #MentalHealth #Independence

Conclusion, my pov and what's next: I did this test to verify the doubt I had in my mind for longest period. Whenever I visited the hospital, doctors used to disregard these reports and always asked to conduct tests at the hospital itself. However, this experiment cleared many doubts. And all the proofs are in front of you. My POV: Testing is easy in India. Why are you not testing yourself and your parents? It is cheap. They come home. They give results within some hours. What is stopping you? Next, I will be testing my lungs completely to see how much damage pollution has caused so far. I will also be testing my heart to check the cardiac risks and what we can do about them. I am doing this purely for awareness purposes. Not selling anything here. Few people said things like ohooooo you are trying to become bryan or huberman No, I am not. I won't ever sell you random pills to run my house. Testing yourself is not equal to copying someone. Testing is essential, and everyone must do it.

So, we experimented with testing my blood at four major online labs in India that offer home collection to verify if they gave wrong results or readings. Results are out, but instead of directly jumping to a conclusion, let's start from the start. 1. What packages did I choose for this? 1mg - Gold comprehensive - 1886 INR (discounted) Healthians - Full body checkup advance - 1702 INR (app discount) Dr Lal - Swasthfit Super 4 - 2350 INR (no discount) Apollo - Prime health plan - 1675 INR (some prime membership discount and no vitamin profile) All these included major things like CBC, vitamin profile, Lipid, LFT, KFT and Glucose Fasting. Attaching screenshots of the amount I paid.

#DeepSeek will do it according to me. In telecom, Till 1990, a Mumbai to Delhi voice call for 3 mins costed 4$ In 2010, same costed less than 0.02$ “Jio” brought it down to 1/100th. Cool. All could afford. In AI by 2030, #DeepSeek will bring costs down to 1/100th. Cooler. All can afford. #Disruptions #ScaleHiKhelHai

Story Telling: How and when it started ? After joining BARC, costs of living in Mumbai roasted me. Rs. 800 per month salary in 1982. My family needed to send Rs. 1000 because all siblings were studying. So I decided to do Tuitions in non office hours. One rich Gujarati family in Mumbai gave me a break through. But he said “will pay 300, for my son, Class 5, has rejected 4 masters in last one year”. Try your luck. 6,30 to 7:30 session. After 15 days i was told, he not only liked you, he has recommended you to his brother 7th std. will pay you 400. 7.30 to 8:30 am session. In another one month, I was requested for daughter, 9th standard. 6:30 to 8:30 pm session. Rs. 600 Travel and food free. Worked from 6 am to 9 pm. Total 2100 a month. Could send 1600 a month. Improved my English, GK. My family got stabilized. Learnt time management. Children loved 50% time stories. 50% subject. 😂😂😂 . I perfected my story telling. #Stamina helped me in this.

This is a true and fascinating story of how the coming together of modern medical science,a committed team of health care professional and trained social workers can bring people out of dark realms of mental illness back to the warmth of their homes and family that too in a Government Health set up. In April 2023, Dharmapuri Medical College Hospital health staff rescued a 30 yrs old mentally ill person found wandering listlessly (identity not revealed). The team was challenged by his violent, aggressive behaviour and lack of cooperation to treatment. He could not recall anything about himself including even his name. He also escaped twice from the ward. The team did not give up. With the efforts of trained psychiatric social workers he was traced back and put on to the strict treatment regimen. The team established a beautiful rapport making him co-operate with the treatment. With the care and treatment he could recall his name and his family details. The team traced out the family and united him in a small beautiful reunion ceremony at the hospital yesterday after a gap of one year. The team has so far rescued 107 mentally ill patients since March 2022 and reunited 56 patients with their families including patients from Northern states by successfully tracking and communicating with their family members. Kudos to the entire team

My 2024 promise to self is to unapologetically cut off toxic people off my life. Block, remove and never stay in touch. Some people feed on toxicity and their own melodrama. Choose your mental peace and karmic debts carefully! 🧿

Congratulations @sofiafirdous1 1. I know 100s of MLAs. None knows me. You are the only MLA who personally know me. 2. you are the only MLA who listened to my entire story for 40 mins. I wish to reiterate my punchline: When a man succeeds a family prospers. But when a woman succeeds entire society prospers. I wish you an impactful political career and personal life.
