Mosques in America are on high alert.
Following the painful incident that occurred today at the Islamic center and Islamic school in the city of Santiago, California, we urge all Islamic centers, mosques, and Islamic schools, along with staff members and volunteers, to raise the level of caution and vigilance and to take all necessary safety and security measures to protect our children and all worshippers and visitors.
Please make sure to:
• Monitor all entrances and exits of centers and schools.
• Immediately report any suspicious behavior or suspicious objects.
• Strengthen security and safety procedures during prayers, activities, and gatherings.
• Do not leave children unattended.
• Fully cooperate with local authorities when needed.
We ask Allah to protect our community, mosques, and Islamic centers everywhere, and to keep all harm and evil away from us and from you.
We also ask everyone to make duaa for our brother Amin, the mosque security, that Allah accepts him into His vast mercy, grants him Paradise, and gives his family patience and comfort during these difficult times.
Indeed, to Allah we belong and to Him we shall return.

من حوالي ٣ سنين، قبل ما السيسي يتكلم النهارده عن استحالة الاكتفاء الذاتي من القمح وغيره،
كتب صقر النور، الباحث الزراعي ومحمد رمضان الباحث الاقتصادي مقال عظيم، وكاشف، عنوانه: هل يجب أن نكتفي ذاتيا من القمح؟
المقال بيقول ليه مصر واحدة من اكثر الدول في العالم استهلاكا للقمح، وليه معدل استهلاك المواطن المصري من القمح أضعاف الرقم العالمي. وازاي ده مرتبط بالفقر، مش بزيادة السكان.
ده الطريقة اللي لازم نواجه بيها مشكلة القمح، نغير نمط الغذاء مش نكتفي ذاتيا، ولا نقول للناس بطلوا تخلفوا.
