51 weeks ago, in her 2nd race of the 2025 season Mia came down hard while racing, from the impact she suffered a seizure and concussion. We made the decision to end her race season that evening when we got home from hospital, primarily to allow to recover in her time, not setting any targets time wise to get back racing, although she agreed, it was a tough ask, as she had been preparing for months and had put so much into her the previous winter block away from home. She knew we wanted her to go into her winter block of training with her younger sister 100% recovered with no setbacks, ready for the 2026 season. Today she made her way to the top step of the podium 🙏

Lovely week in #Flanders enjoying the sunshine and beer and a bit of cycling as well, no issues. Back home on the bike 5 mins and I have a driver giving me the finger, and that was the start of it at least 4 or 5 interactions.
