1.如果川二不直接走人,而是想跟伊朗人谈判达成协议的话,估计会有以下内容: 1.不再提限制伊朗人发展导弹问题; 2.希望伊朗人坚持其不搞核武的承诺,美国在和平利用核能技术上给伊朗提供帮助; 3.解除对伊朗的制裁; 4.美国继续保留其在海湾国家的基地,保证不再袭击伊朗;

@GlennLuk How is the software ecosystem cost to apply HW's chips compared to nvda's? Like to train a same level model, how long/how many human resources needed more than deploying h20/h200? Comparing the chip cost only might be misleading?

The other, perhaps less-appreciated point, is that much of the price difference is driven by differences in product gross margins. nVidia charges monopoly-driven markups for its silicon designs. Huawei's chip gross margins are invariably much lower. nVidia could lower the price if it wanted to (whether it will or not is another question).

Huawei 950PR AI chip is priced at ¥70,000, less than a third of the price of a nVidia H200. Huawei is targeting shipments in the 2H and estimating 750,000 units. reuters.com/world/china/hu…

3: Other interesting bits - Comera acquisition could let them do *some* of the signal processing (error correction) on the cable/switch. More lock-in!! - 200G per lane transition: Main force is $NVDA but XPUs moving much slower. Sustained demand for 100G/lane.

I listened to $CRDO's Q3 earnings again, and I didn't think I could become any more bullish on the stock - but here I am. TLDR: The AEC story is still being written, cautiously optimistic on ZF transceivers, and just *so many tailwinds*, it's hard not to be a $CRDO bull: 🧵

Last week Nvidia admits its GPUs need help and unveils, with fanfare, a chip from a 10yo startup competitor many had written off. This week Arm breaks its 35yo business model and becomes a merchant silicon provider. What a time to be alive (what a time to be an EE Times reporter)

@EnerTuition @DylanOnChips Almost everyone claimed ARM CPU is many X of ARM performance, due to its clean from scratch design without history ISA burden which is a load for X86 to drag its PPA, why no one can prove it from paper to engineering? Sounds GOOGLE TPU is an only exception but still limited on WL

@icnewer @DylanOnChips Neither ARM not Nvidia have ever done a good high perf CPU and not because they have not tried. Doesn't mean they can't but it is a show me thing. Nvidia Grace sucked. Looking at high level specs, and putting some judgement around intangibles, Vera ain't it. We will see.

@DylanOnChips Vera's attractiveness to customers is near "0" unless Nvidia pushes it as part of a Rubin bundle (like it will to CoreWeave and other second/third tier Nvidia Cloud providers). Outside of bundles Vera is a big "0"

Micron $MU is one of the rare S&P 500 stocks that currently ranks in the top 20% by Growth, Quality, Value, and Momentum. Archetype: Elite Compounder at a Deep Discount. As the world's largest pure-play memory maker, Micron sits at the center of the AI infrastructure buildout. After a brutal downcycle in 2022–2023, the cycle has flipped - pricing power is back and margins are exploding.

Elliott does not take significant stakes for small returns. Synopsys sits at the foundation of every chip designed on earth and Elliott just told you they think the market is undervaluing that position. When the most aggressive activist on Wall Street buys into the picks and shovels of the semiconductor industry, that is probably worth paying attention to 🤷‍♂️
