@DrPhiltill@learning_yohei Exact same story for me. Shocks me when my family from Ireland visit or when I go back. Shoes that were just on dirty city streets been worn in the living room
@learning_yohei I used to do that until I married into an Asian family. The first thing my wife taught me is that it is nasty to wear shoes inside the house. Shoes come off at the door and go onto a shelf. I got corrected by her a couple times early in our marriage and now I agree with her.😇
🚨NEW: Stephen A. Smith on losing friends over politics🔥
"They don’t realize: you did me a FAVOR. I didn’t know that our friendship was that fragile ... Kick rocks, go to h*ll, get out my life! I don’t want to see you or talk to you EVER again."
@DailyCaller
In many ways I feel sorry for Tiger Woods. Then many I don’t. He’s not a great person. It’s pretty documented. He was an insanely gifted golfer. Maybe the most gifted we’ve ever seen.
He lived his life in private by design as much as he could. That sheltered him. He’s a socially awkward human. He doesn’t like being out there as an athlete like others.
The shutting off from society that he does really isolates himself as well. His Father dying was his straw. He never came back.
He knows he has a problem. He can’t not know that. He’s without doubt in daily pain. Hurting chronically has to be psychologically taxing. I pray I’m never there.
He refuses to turn to anybody for help. Likely to maintain his privacy. The ones around him fear losing their job/relationship if they dare say anything to him. See Charles Barkley and Jordan and others in 2009. He completely alienated his best buds to go into isolation and deal with his stuff internally. You can only internalize problems for so long. He’s done it 2 decades maybe his whole life.
It’s just wild that a man with the resources he has continues to find himself in these positions and circumstances. It’s truly sad one of the most iconic human beings to ever entertain the masses is where he is with his life.
While it’s easy to take shots and he’s earned them. It’s his fault. I just can’t bring myself to do it. He’s got kids. They love him and they are not sheltered from their father’s problems. I’m really really sad for the guy. I’m really sad as a dad for his kids.
Tiger Woods, golfer, has had as many surgeries as just about any NFL player ever. Sounds like he has lived on prescription drugs. He's lucky he hasn't killed himself or someone else driving impaired. He's worth 1.3 billion dollars. SO OBVIOUSLY HE SHOULD HIRE A PERMANENT DRIVER.
Breaking news for anyone who hasn't worked this out yet:
Cows are vegan.
No, stay with me.
The cow eats the grass. The clover. The herbs. The wildflowers. The diverse, mineral-rich, organically grown plant matter from the field.
The cow then, and this is where it gets interesting, converts all of that plant material into complete protein, bioavailable heme iron, zinc, B12, fat-soluble vitamins, omega-3 fatty acids, creatine, and carnosine.
Using its four stomachs. Which are considerably better at this than yours.
So technically, the most efficient way to eat a plant-based diet is to let a cow do it first.
The cow is the blender.
The cow is doing the processing you cannot do yourself.
When you eat beef, you are eating a hyperconcentrated, biologically optimised, grass-powered superfood that a vegan has been assembling for you in a field for eighteen months.
You're welcome.
@talok253 Many people believe that big restaurants are set up as money laundering schemes for governments because the big and thriving restaurants are all owned by politicians or government tenderpreneurs
Your body fat stores: Approximately 100,000-150,000 calories.
That is, conservatively, 50-75 days of total energy needs.
You are carrying months of fuel.
Your body built this storage system over millions of years precisely to survive periods without food.
The fuel is there. The machinery to use it is there.
Ketosis is simply the state in which you're using it.
So when someone says: "Isn't it dangerous to be in ketosis long-term?"
They're asking: "Isn't it dangerous to use the fuel storage system your body spent millions of years building?"
To which the answer is:
No. It's why the storage system exists.
The dangerous state is never using it.
Never accessing your fat stores.
Being permanently dependent on external carbohydrate supply.
Like a generator that can only run when plugged into the mains and panics the moment the cable is unplugged.
Your body was built to be a diesel generator, not a phone that needs charging every 3 hours.
I dont feel like watching all of this, but maybe will today:

Was disappointed in you @RealKidPoker . When i asked you to take the battery out of your phone, you were actively committing a felony on us soil- that maybe is still under statute idk
The mental gymnastics required to believe:
- Humans evolved eating meat for 2.5 million years
- Developed big brains from animal fat
- Built civilization on animal agriculture
- But only in 1960 did we discover meat is deadly
- And seed oils invented in 1911 are the solution
- Despite obesity/diabetes/heart disease exploding since we made the switch
The fraud is so blatant it's almost impressive.
Pt 2 @StubHub sellers can just decide not to give you your tickets if the prices have gone up which was the case with this @ufc event. Seller clearly just sold the tickets again 4 a higher price. Absolute scam. Sellers should have to give the tickets to StubHub prior to selling
@StubHub is an absolute scam. Buyer beware. I ‘bought’ tickets for the @ufc event in Vegas this weekend and at the last minute the tickets ‘weren’t available’ and instead of sitting close to the octagon we were given tickets on the upper level, couldn’t have been further away
99% of the plants in the forest are inedible.
If you didn't have a PHD in botany, you'd starve to death surrounded by indigestible wood and grass.
Or you might get poisoned and shit your guts out eating what you thought were wild raspberries.
Meanwhile, 99% of animals and their flesh are edible.
When meat is on the menu, we should eat meat.
It's as simple as that.
