THE HIGHLIGHTS: 🔹 Friendly Local Domains: Access canisters via human-readable domains like frontend.local.localhost instead of principal strings. 🔹 Canister Migration: New migrate-id command allows you to move canister IDs across subnets for better infrastructure management. 🔹 Real-Time Logs: Use icp canister logs --follow to stream and tail canister logs directly in your terminal. 🔹 Multi-Chain Support: Managed local networks can now be configured to connect with Bitcoin and Dogecoin nodes. 🔹 IC Skills: A skill that teaches coding agents how to use icp-cli, helping automate commands and migrate projects from dfx. ⚠️ Note: This update includes breaking changes regarding recipe versions and argument handling. Internet Computer "cloud engines" will run over AWS data centers i.e. ICP will provide a way to create full stack apps on AWS that keep running when individual DCs have issues.
AWS has been very helpful, and provided technical hooks needed by ICP node software. Coming soon.
