I liked when hashtag #LAfirestorm was introduced bc it's more accurate than wildfires. Wind was equiv to Cat 1 hurricane. Millions of Americans live in hurricane prone areas. Most know wind speeds. Why they can't put that knowledge w/reported Santa Ana wind speeds is odd to me.

Oh my God. This is what firefighters were up against in the initial hours of the LA wildfires. There isn’t a water system in the world that could have handled this. Not one. Wildfires on the inside of a hurricane. Don’t let anyone spin this shit as “normal.” It’s apocalyptic.

@uber was able to cancel, paid $6 for "the time" of a so-called driver who didn't know where he was taking me, aftet the initial one didn't know where to pick me up and literally said it was his first airport pickup. Extremely unsafe for women traveling alone. Do better Uber.

@Uber has sent two drivers to get me who don't know where to pick up passengers, or don't know where they taking me, with changing info on the car picking me up. Can't cancel this trip from within the app. Why? What can I do?

Working in a medical office, the past couple weeks 99% of people who INSISTED it's strep throat or a sinus infection or "just a cold" tested positive for Covid. Don't act like we said you/your kid cook meth when we suggest a test. We want you to have the right treatment.

Since Covid, I've shopped at @AceHardware more than Home Depot and Lowe's put together. There's tons of good reasons to shop there - no matter what politics you prefer! Just saying. :D

@chrissyxchi Almost 30 years ago, two friends of mine got married. One a huge SW fan, the other a very sweet person who loved the entire goofy package. At their reception, some of the SW fan's buddies replaced the bride & groom cake topper with Luke & DV battling with lightsabers. :D
