Hardware leaker MLID doubles down on the PS6 being cheaper than the PS5 Pro. He says from the ground up the PS6 & Handheld were designed to be cheap to produce. Cheaper than the PS5 & PS5 Pro. With much cheaper cooling & power supplies. If Sony were to release a home console SKU with the Handheld, it would be cheaper than the base PS5.

@idcimbored @TheBugleDaily1 Lmao, I wouldn't doubt them doing that, but they'd still sell more copies with attractive characters. But, in all honesty, most of these AAA game companies aren't gamers, artists, or even decent story writers, they're just corpo drones spouting Current Thing™ politics.

@ExoGhost Nah not really. It was easy to adapt but people didn’t want to adapt. Which is confusing because if they kept releasing the same “engine” or gameplay, people would complain But if they release a new mechanic or gameplay, engine whatever, people would say “this isn’t cod” 😂

@gfuller2002 @FirstDescendant Thank you for seeing the point. People think because we find the game expensive and boring means we also dont enjoy the skins, which is not the case. We actually do enjoy the skins, we just can’t keep up. Also people forget to mention how Warframe came before it

Beautiful character design is not financial sustainability. I praised the art direction and I stand by it. Live service games depend on progression, content cadence and monetization. That confusion is exactly why studios keep losing money. And why my account exists.

Take-Two has laid off its Head of AI and cut back the whole department. This follows earlier cost cuts and comes before GTA 6 launches. The CEO has said AI cannot replace human creativity in big games like GTA.j
