At Manchester United in the Premier League, he played everywhere — center-back, full-back, midfield… even goalkeeper once. He wasn’t the flashiest or the fastest. But he was reliable, smart, and always ready when the team needed him. And then there were the moments — nutmegging Luís Figo, scoring a last-minute winner against Liverpool stepping up in big games without hesitation. The type of player every great team needs. Underrated. Versatile. Always dependable. Unfortunately they don’t make them like this anymore.

@AndyMitten Don't forget that the subways of the trainstations can hold a million people in the case of war. They have a hole underground city beneath where there are gyms, saunas, kindergartens, Caffès, tennis/basket/football courts and ofc sleeping accommodations for all.

I was supposed to do the accounting side a while back— I’d already been accepted into a program and everything. But, we decided to hit pause on it, because of work getting crazy. And we never really had a plan for what came after I got my master’s. Basically it was just supposed to be an add-on to my law degree, and let me help out with our accounting team. But, I finally convinced my boss to let me grab my MBA (which I deeply regretted not getting while I was in law school); and we agreed that my career trajectory is headed away from the practice of law, and towards the business side of things.

Some exciting, personal news. I’m going back to school and changing jobs (kinda). In fall, I’ll (finally) start a dual degree program for my MBA and a Master’s in Strategic Finance + Accounting. And work is going to pay for it. The idea is that, over the next year, as I get those degrees, I will step down from daily legal work (aside from the M&A side), and move into an executive-focused role (basically, engaging with operations and post-closing integrations— so I will oversee every part of the acquisition lifecycle, and subsequently manage the process of rolling the target companies into our operations).

Thomas Tuchel's World Cup squad selection was wrong. His in game management & subs were wrong. England barely played well all tournament. They played arguably worse than under Gareth Southgate. The improvement supposed to happen never did. When it mattered most, he was cowardly.
