I used to drown in tasks as a dev, CTO & freelancer. Social media trains our brains to lose focus every few minutes. Wanna know how I still stay ahead of it? Instead of fighting it, I started using Promodoro 🍅 and it changed everything. The concept is simple: • Work in 25 min focus sprints • Take a 5 min break • After 4 rounds, rest longer ⚠️ What does science say? A 2025 study (MDPI, Behavioral Sciences) tested Pomodoro against self‑regulated breaks. [1] 📖The results? • No significant productivity boost compared to self‑regulation • Motivation actually declined faster in Pomodoro users • Fatigue increased more quickly when breaks were fixed and not self‑planned In short: the timer itself isn’t a magic productivity hack. Break‑taking techniques had minimal impact compared to letting people regulate their own timing. 🙌 How Is It Still Helping Me? Even though the study shows mixed results, the idea of Promodoro still helps me in practice. I set timers like the method suggests. If the timer runs out but I’m still in flow, I just keep going. The timer acts as a signal: once I see it’s expired and I get distracted, I set a break timer to reset my focus. So instead of obeying the clock, I use it as a reflection tool. It reminds me to ask: Do I need a break or more focus right now? 🧠 My Takeaway Like the study suggests, fixed timings aren’t optimal. bitcoin was at 120k and sol was at 270 and you said you would not sell because it would go even higher. then you said i wish btc would give another entry, and i wish sol would go back to 125 so i could buy. now the price is there and you are not buying, or you cannot buy because you are fully in. now you say i wish btc would go back to 120k and sol would go above 200 so we could sell. if it gets there you still will not sell, because when that moment comes you will again say it will go higher. create your game plan with a calm mind, and stick to that plan. whatever it is buy sell tp sl, stick to the plan. have a plan. you do not have a game plan, or you cannot execute it. that is why you cannot succeed, and you lose money.

Current market is the harsh reality of crypto. Looking at charts in hindsight makes it seem simple to “buy low and sell high”, but trading in real time is where you learn how difficult it truly is. When emotions take over and you ignore your system’s signal to cut a position, you put yourself in a bad spot (one that usually doesn’t end well) I recently faced this myself where I held a position I should’ve exited. I didn’t want to take the loss, and for a moment it looked like things might turn around but my system said otherwise. I ignored it, and now those positions are much deeper underwater than they needed to be. I’m sharing this because even when you feel like you’re improving as a trader, the market will test you. Moments like these reveal whether you’re truly getting better… or if the market was simply easy.
