The conflict in the Middle East has gone too far. My message to the US & Israel is that it’s high time to end the war – as human suffering deepens, civilian casualties mount & the global economic impact is increasingly devastating. My message to Iran is to stop attacking their neighbors that are not parties to the conflict.

@weddady #Iran controls the Strait of Hormuz and now charges passage fees in petroyuan. Not sure what’s more insulting to the U.S.: that Tehran can call the shots on one of the world’s key chokepoints—or that it no longer cares what Washington thinks. 🤔

The five-second epistemology of the red target bank. The IRGC published the receipt before the deadline expired. Red target bank. The phrase that sounds like a financial institution because it is one. The IRGC running a bank. A bank of targets. Red targets. The ledger where every American base, every Israeli tech company, every power plant threat gets deposited and accrues interest. Riba in reverse. The empire’s instrument pays interest to bondholders. The IRGC’s instrument pays interest in strikes. Read the list. Evacuation of American bases. Done. Consolidation of power in the Strait. Done. Control of global energy. Done. Destruction of Israeli technology companies. Done. Global hatred of you. Done. Five line items. Five completed transactions. The IRGC filing a quarterly earnings report. The war as balance sheet. Every objective met. The account in surplus. And the next quarter’s guidance: we are thinking beyond the region. Beyond the region. The Strait was regional. The toll booth was regional. The mines were regional. Whatever comes next isn’t. Diego Garcia was the preview — denied and claimed in the same news cycle. The IRGC just told the empire that the regional war was the opening act. The red target bank has accounts in other time zones. In less than 48 hours. They posted this before Trump’s 48-hour ultimatum expired. The IRGC answering the deadline before the deadline arrived. Trump said 48 hours or power plants. The IRGC said 48 hours and a red target bank of technological and political targets. The ultimatum returned with a counteroffer. You threaten our power plants, we open a new ledger. The bank that opens when the threat is made. The red target bank was pre-designed. The 48 hours was just the trigger that opened it for business. Ghalibaf da Gangsta called Treasuries a military target. The IRGC just opened the bank where those targets are deposited. Day 24.

The five-second epistemology of Communiqué No. 41. Ghalibaf is reportedly the channel. Ghalibaf’s institution is numbering the communiqués. The channel and the strikes operating in the same hour. The phone ringing and the building shaking at the same time. This is what negotiation looks like when one side has the Strait and the other side has a tweet. Trump said me and the Ayatollah. The Ayatollah said Communiqué No. 40. And then No. 41. The numbering system responding to the co-management proposal faster than the State Department can draft a press release. Me and the Ayatollah controlling the Strait together. The Ayatollah’s response: explosions in Kuwait. The timeshare offer answered with the sound of the building the tenant already owns. Forty-one communiqués. Twenty-four days. The IRGC producing military paperwork at a rate that would embarrass a German accounting firm. Each communiqué a line item. Each line item a base. Tel Nof. Azraq. Ali Al Salem. The war filing itself alphabetically across the Middle East while the President describes a duplex arrangement with the man sending the invoices. Kuwait isn’t in the Abraham Accords. Kuwait didn’t sign Yazid’s pact. Kuwait just hosts the base. The base that exists because the architecture needs a base and the architecture doesn’t ask. The monarchy that lets the empire park in its driveway and then watches the driveway become the target. The 85% ratio again. The Saudi prince’s math confirmed at a different address. The missiles don’t hit the evangelical Disney World. The missiles hit the parking lot. Day 24.

The five-second epistemology of the invoice. The Gulf monarchies just told the empire to finish the job. Nobody in the Mideast Gulf asked for this war, but now that we find ourselves in the midst of it, the US should sort this out. The protection racket clients calling the protection racket operator and getting voicemail. Forty years of hosting bases. Forty years of arms deals. Forty years of alignment. And now Saudi oil sits on tankers stuck inside the Strait while Iranian oil flows to China. The empire’s allies stranded. The empire’s enemy transiting. The ADT system that charged the monthly fee watching the burglar walk past the alarm and rob the house next door. Three options, the Gulf told Washington. A compromise with Iran over freedom of passage. Alignment with Iran’s dictates. Or the use of force. Three doors. The empire has chosen none of them. The empire chose a fourth door — unsanctioning 140 million barrels of Iranian oil and calling it a plan. And the Gulf officials told Argus that 140 million barrel number includes Saudi and UAE and Kuwaiti and Iraqi crude loaded on tankers stuck inside the Strait. The empire counting its allies’ stranded cargo as supply. The protection racket operator billing the client for the robbery. But what do the monarchies actually do? This is the end of the road and the monarchies know it. They cannot align with Iran — the IRGC warned Ras al-Khaimah, told the populations your rulers chose blind subservience. Any monarchy that deepens alignment with the empire against Iran becomes Yazid. The Karbala theology activates. The populations activate. The monarchies fall. They cannot use force — they do not have force, they had the empire’s force, and the empire’s force cannot reopen the Strait with the largest navy in human history. They cannot compromise with Iran — because compromise means acknowledging Iran controls the Strait, which means the protection racket was worthless, which means forty years of alignment bought nothing, which means the monarchy’s legitimacy — built on the deal that said we host the bases and the bases protect us — collapses. Iran removed its monarch in 1979. That is the war underneath the war. The republic that removed its king watching the monarchies that kept theirs discover that the king’s protector cannot protect the king. The Gulf monarchies are hanging on. But hanging on to what. The bases are being hit. Ali al-Salem burning. Al-Dhafra hit. The Fifth Fleet targeted. The protection racket’s hardware on fire in the protection racket’s client’s driveway. The monarchy that cannot align with Iran and cannot fight Iran and cannot compromise with Iran and cannot survive without the empire and cannot survive with the empire. The end of the road dressed as three options that are all the same option — the monarchy is over. Day twenty-two. The invoice arrived. Forty years of protection. The Strait is closed. The oil is stuck. The bases are burning. The monarchies calling Washington. Washington not answering. Three doors. All locked. Iran removed its monarch in 1979. The Gulf monarchies are about to learn why. Some invoice. Some protection. Some empire.

EXCLUSIVE: Mideast Gulf oil producers are urging the US to address the disruption to oil flows through the strait of Hormuz "straight on", warning that interim measures such as tapping into Iran's so-called "oil-on-water" risk strengthening Tehran's position while leaving regional producers exposed, senior Gulf officials have told @ArgusMedia. #oott 🔗: argusmedia.com/en/news-and-in…

This war is the most significant one of our times. It will decisively determine the terms of engagement of the west with the global south - from the covert imperialism of the rules based order to outright imperialism. Iran fights for us all. Like it or not. Accept it or not.

Martyr Ali Larijani recounts a meeting with Henry Kissinger, where Kissinger stated that after World War II the map of the region was drawn and states were assigned their place, with only two exceptions left outside full control: Iran and Egypt. Larijani describes rejecting the premise of a “strategic relationship,” framing Iran as a civilizational actor that resisted incorporation into that post-war order and continues to operate beyond it.

When the U.S. Secretary of War declares “no quarter”, he doesn't project strength. He conveys moral bankruptcy and ignorance about law of armed conflict. We advise him to review the Hague Convention and Rome Statute of the ICC, unless he aspires to join Netanyahu as war criminal.

For years, bombing #Gaza & #Beirut was the bloody routine. Now, bombing Tel Aviv is the new one — reminding the aggressor that fire burns both ways. Thanks to #Iran & the resistance for enforcing Hussein’s creed: “Never to humiliation.” On the missile: “For #Epstein’s victims.”

"It's possible to oppose this war AND oppose the Iranian regime. You can denounce BOTH." Sure you can. But you shouldn't. You should not do this. You should not be a pro bono Pentagon propagandist in the middle of a US war of immense consequence. You should not do the hasbarists' job for them. Make them do their own job themselves. This war already has a huge number of propagandists screaming "REGIME BAD" at the top of their lungs in order to ensure that the slaughter continues. You don't need to add your voice to the chorus, and you shouldn't. You should not help them manufacture consent for more human butchery. You should be using your voice solely and exclusively to end the butchery your government and its allies are inflicting on human beings. All your "REGIME BAD" sloganeering accomplished was paving the way to the carnage you see before you today. Your self-righteous denunciations of the Iranian government failed to expand the rights of a single Iranian woman or LGBTQ individual. All you accomplished was helping to grease the wheels for a war of unfathomable horror, ensuring that all Iranians now live under more fear and misery than ever before. If you live under the western empire, you have an ethical obligation to use your voice responsibly in that context. You don't get to just irresponsibly feed into an active war propaganda campaign by regurgitating the same regime change narratives about an empire-targeted government as the US and Israeli governments, and then pretend this doesn't make you culpable for the consequences of your actions. If your words help grease the wheels of the war machine, then you bear partial moral responsibility for what the war machine does with your assistance. You don't get to just pretend that responsibility doesn't exist. The families who are being torn apart with the help of your pro bono war propaganda efforts do not care about your anarchist or Trotskyist "all tyranny is equally bad" political philosophy or how good your virtuous purity posturing makes you feel about yourself. All they experience is the consequences of your actions. As a westerner, your one and only duty is to oppose the depravity of the western empire. That's your only job. Don't lean out the window of the Empire of Perpetual Bloodlust to wag your finger at empire-targeted countries in the global south. It's obnoxious. Curb the murderousness of your own government and its allies. THAT'S your job. If you get your job done, THEN come talk to me about how bad and wrong some random government in west Asia looks to you. Until then, shut the fuck up and do your job.

@yarotrof @AliVaez As Ali said, this is wishful thinking. The expenditure & stock of missiles vs. interceptors is relevant as long as no side can destroy the other side's stock and launchers. Iran is losing missiles and launchers daily because they don't control their airspace. @rmslim

Iranian hardliners are in no rush to agree to a ceasefire even if Trump were to try declaring a victory and ending the war, says @AliVaez “Their calculus is that they paced themselves out, and that in coming days the U.S. and Israel will run out of interceptors and they will be able to inflict much more harm on every one of the U.S. allies in the region, and then Trump will be coming to beg for some kind of cease-fire, for which they could dictate the terms. It is to a degree wishful thinking because even if U.S. defensive capabilities suffer, it is still well-stocked on the offensive side and can inflict way more damage to Iran.” wsj.com/world/middle-e…
