From ADC to NDC like a footballer on emergency loan transfer, yet the result remained the same. The painful part? It was not even political heavyweights that stopped her. Na one calm old woman, Mama Amanda Pam, carry slippers of democracy pursue noise out of her senatorial race. 😂😂 For years, Aisha Yesufu has insulted Presidents, Governors, Senators, Parties, Supporters, Journalists, and probably NEPA officials too. On TV, she sounded like Nigeria was just waiting for her to rescue everybody. Politics is a very wicked teacher. Twitter likes are not votes. Television appearances are not structure. Noise is not grassroots. And insults don’t automatically become popularity. One thing this election proved is that Nigerians can clap for you online and still retire you politically offline. Brutal. Mama Amanda Pam no even argue too much. She simply entered the ring like old-school aunties that don’t shout before disciplining stubborn children. One clean electoral uppercut… gbas gbos finished. 🥊😂 Now the same people that told us “structure is overrated” have discovered that polling units are not organized by hashtags and emotional interviews. I understand the anger, but this is where nuance gets lost. Explaining policy is not the same as supporting it, and understanding intent is not the same as accepting impact. Governance always sits in tension between economic theory and human reality and when those clash, people feel the pain first, long before they see any logic. But avoiding explanation completely because of frustration also removes the space to properly question, correct, and demand better outcomes. Both accountability and understanding are necessary, even when emotions are high.

This is just like saying "Here's what the bandits are trying to achieve by beheading innocent's while chanting Allahu akbar" Anything is explainable. Anything can be clarified. But people who feel the effects of decisions like these do not need explanations or educative tweets as you posit to have delivered. THEY. NEED. RESULTS! You did not need to make this tweet. You did not need to educate anybody on what the government intended to do. Removing fuel subsidy less than 24 hours into power is not explainable. Economic jargon does not cushion the effect of the deliberate impoverishment of over 200m people. Because whether you like it or not, you and I are both poor regardless of whatever money we make. You cannot escape a dead system with money. If I didn't know you I would've resolved that you have sold your soul to the power predators that is APC. But let's play with benefit of doubt. If you want to support Tinuhu, do so with your full chest. Nobody fit beat you. Otherwise, Vote Peter Obi next year🫴🏽
