JUST IN: Elon Musk reveals SpaceX's long-term Starship launch goal after Flight 12.
"Our goal is launching Starship >10k/year, which would be more than once an hour. Probably over 200 tons of useful load to a useful orbit per flight by then."
At 10,000 launches and 200 metric tons per flight, that is 2 billion metric tons to orbit per year. SpaceX delivered 2,213 metric tons in all of 2025.

@TotalitasWattz Mars has been there for millions of years. I don’t think it’s waiting on us. We can keep the surprise 🚀

View of the Tower 1 pin. Definitely curious what the upgraded version on the new tower looks like.

Elon Musk@elonmusk
The hydraulic pin holding the tower arm in place did not retract. If that can be fixed tonight, there will be another launch attempt tomorrow at 5:30 CT.

Regarding the OpenAI case, the judge & jury never actually ruled on the merits of the case, just on a calendar technicality.
There is no question to anyone following the case in detail that Altman & Brockman did in fact enrich themselves by stealing a charity. The only question is WHEN they did it!
I will be filing an appeal with the Ninth Circuit, because creating a precedent to loot charities is incredibly destructive to charitable giving in America.
OpenAI was founded to benefit all of humanity.

Beware the empathy exploit.
Empathy is good and right when thought through (deep), but can be deadly to civilization when simply stimulus-response (shallow).
For example, releasing a repeat violent offender may feel good at first (shallow empathy for the criminal), but it is wrong to do so when that person will go on to hurt or murder innocent victims, as there should be deep empathy for future victims.

@DimaZeniuk Exciting to think about. Darwin’s theory put to the ultimate test. Can a species adapt to an environment off the earth 🌎
There is no one more intuitive than Elon to take on such a challenge.

@HeartNova26 @Supamusk123 Which one of your goals do you most want to succeed?

@XVirals_US @Supamusk123 I want to see clips of Elon outsmarting the Attorneys in Oakland.

@Adams_Tech_AI What would Mr Musk consider his biggest contribution to the future.
Rocketry? Cars? The direction of AI? Neurology? What would he consider his biggest achievement to this point?
English

@Velar2026 @Supamusk123 I think Mr Musk has learned that Lawyers are just Con Men. Good is a perception not a reality. I would pay to watch Mr Musk spar with a mouthpiece (Attorney). Good is relative to what you consider bad.

@FanaticElon Like, no. Respect yes. It’s better to be respected than loved.

@ShadowBriefing_ @Supamusk123 He is an imaginer that makes dreams come true. 🚀

@DimaZeniuk Good luck Mr Musk, may justice prevail and the balance and truth be weighed fairly. Thank you for thinking of the future of A.I. and that it may be a tool of advancement and a voice of all the people. Technology should benefit all. Not just the few!
