(1/2)Complete statement of @MIshaqDar50 : *Ministry of Foreign Affairs* *(Office of the Spokesperson)* *Statement by the Deputy Prime Minister /Foreign Minister Senator Mohammad Ishaq Dar at the Conclusion of 2nd Meeting of Four Foreign Ministers Islamabad*   BISMILLAH AR-RAHMAN AR-RAHEEM.   Ladies and Gentlemen,   As you all are aware, Foreign Ministers of Saudi Arabia, Türkiye and Egypt are in Pakistan at my invitation.   I held very productive bilateral meetings with three Foreign Ministers. I am sure you have covered our press readouts on these meetings. The three Foreign Ministers also called on the Honourable Prime MinisterMuhammad Shehbaz Sharif.   As you know, the purpose of the visit of the Foreign Ministers was to participate in the 2nd Meeting of Consultations among Pakistan, Saudi Arabia, Turkiye and Egypt which was held today in Islamabad. You may recall that our 1st Meeting was held in Riyadh on 19 March 2026.   Let me first give you the ‘Host Summary’ of the 2nd Meeting of four Foreign Ministers.   i. The Foreign Ministers held a very detailed and in-depth discussion on the current regional situation. We also discussed the possible ways to bring an early and permanent end to the war in the region.   ii. The Foreign Ministers expressed concerns that the on-going conflict is extremely unfortunate for its devastating impact on lives and livelihood across the wider region.   iii. We agreed that this war is not in favour of anyone and would only lead to death and destruction. The unity of Muslim Ummah in these challenging times is of utmost importance.   iv. I briefed the visiting Foreign Ministers on the prospects of potential US-Iran talks in Islamabad. The visiting Foreign Ministers expressed their full support tothe initiative.   v. The Foreign Ministers reaffirmed unity to contain the situation, reduce the risk of military escalations and create conditions for structured negotiations between relevant parties.   vi. The Foreign Ministers advocated dialogue and diplomacy as the only viable pathway to prevent conflicts and to promote regional peace and harmony. We called for upholding principles of the UN Charter, including respect for sovereignty and territorial integrity of all states.   vii. The Foreign Ministers also discussed ways and means to further strengthen mutual cooperation among the four brotherly countries. In this regard, we decided to constitute a Committee of Four Senior Officials from the respective Ministries of Foreign Affairs to work out the modalities through mutual understanding and consensus.   Ladies and Gentlemen,   Let me underscore my profound gratitude to my brothers the Foreign Ministers of Saudi Arabi, Turkiye and Egypt, for their support to Pakistan’s efforts for peace in the region.   As you know, under the leadership of the Honourable Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif, Pakistan has maintained regular engagement with our regional and international partners. Pakistan has remained actively involved in all efforts and initiative aimed at bringing this conflict to an end.

According to Pakistani media, the war is already “won.” In reality, Pakistan has suffered heavy casualties. Afghan Taliban forces have captured several border checkposts, shot down a jet, and blasts have been reported in Islamabad and Karachi. At the same time, Pakistani Army has been targeting civilians in Kabul, Kandahar, and Jalalabad, while its Ministry of Culture remains busy producing cringe social media videos. Afghans are more united than ever. Propaganda cannot hide reality. Saudi Arabia or Qatar might mediate for an immediate ceasefire.

@anwaribrahim Thank you Prime Minister, your country is not a friend but a brother to US. But please take one side. Either you are with Pakistan or against Pakistan. Neutrality can't be accepted Talibans killed innocent Pakistanis and your nation is well aware of this.

I view with grave concern the escalation of hostilities between Pakistan and Afghanistan, which has in recent days seen cross-border military operations, and declarations of open conflict between two neighbouring Muslim nations. The loss of life on both sides is a source of profound sorrow. That this violence is unfolding during the month of Ramadan makes it all the more grievous. Malaysia calls on both Pakistan and Afghanistan to exercise maximum restraint and to cease all military operations immediately. The legitimate security concerns of Pakistan must be addressed. Equally, the sovereignty and territorial integrity of Afghanistan must be respected. These two imperatives are not in contradiction. They can only be reconciled at the negotiating table. Starting a war with Afghanistan is easy. Sustaining it is not. Harsh terrain and resilient people have buried empires for centuries. Geography itself fights back. Big powers have sunk there. Pakistan is like a small ball of naswar for Afghan.

@WakeelMubariz Institutions where distorted religious teachings are spread and extremism is encouraged and cultivated cannot be called madrasas. We Pakistanis are a great nation, and Allah is entrusting us with the task of cleansing this menace.

Respected people of Pakistan, This war was started by your army, and its command is directly given by the rulers of the White House. By their order, madrassas and mosques are bombed here. Is it appropriate for a believer to support an army that is at war with Islam? If America orders this army, it would even kill you as well. Afghandus, sponsoring and harbouring TTP terrorists in the holy month of Ramadan is shameful. They can never be a civilized nation.

We reject any 3rd party involvement, particularly from those whose previous attempts to mediate proved ineffective and cost us the life of a fellow citizen. We will stand our ground whether the Gulf nations choose to support Pak or oppose us. Sitting on the fence is not an option
