🤯BREAKING: Researchers just mathematically proved that AI layoffs will collapse the economy: and every CEO already knows it. The AI Layoff Trap. A game theory paper from UPenn + Boston University is glaringly important! 100K+ tech layoffs in 2025. 80% of US workers exposed. And no market force can stop it. → Every company fires workers to cut costs → Every fired worker stops buying products → Revenue collapses across every sector → The companies that fired everyone go bankrupt It's a Prisoner's Dilemma with math behind it. Automate and you survive short-term. Don't automate and your competitor kills you. But everyone automating destroys the demand that makes all companies viable. UBI (universal basic income) won't fix it. Profit taxes won't fix it. The researchers found only one solution: a Pigouvian automation tax "robot tax" The AI trap on the economy is here!

🚨 NEURALINK’S FIRST NONVERBAL PATIENT JUST “SPOKE” USING TELEPATHY — AND IT’S BREAKING THE INTERNET “This is my old voice… cloned by AI.” A man with advanced ALS who lost ALL ability to speak is now communicating again using nothing but his thoughts. He made this video using telepathy, edited with his mind. Read that again. • Implant in his motor cortex (controls movement) • Size of five stacked quarters that replaces part of his skull • Robot threads placed millimeters into the brain, avoiding blood vessels • Thoughts → text → AI voice in real time Before this? He was completely paralyzed. Completely nonverbal. Trapped inside his own body using eye-tracking just to communicate. Now he’s typing with his mind… joking with his kids… even beating them at Mario Kart again. He says life has greatly improved since receiving the Neuralink brain chip impact. And that voice you’re hearing? Those are his thoughts turned into speech. Would you implant a chip in your brain to get your life back?

so you're basically saying Claude Code Opus 4.6 can now... - scan my website - build it as a mobile app - get it ready for App Store submission - self-maintain the app without any human touch?!? it's so over...
Daniel Ch@chddaniel

Introducing Web to App. Convert any website into an native mobile app. Just paste a URL. Claude Code Opus 4.6 in @shipper_now will code, design, launch and translate a mobile app inspired by the original website. We’ve been using this internally a ton for iOS/Android apps. @Tesla should allow drivers to use iris tracking and fingertip gestures to control the touchscreen without actually touching it—basically the Apple Vision Pro interface, but built for driving. Eyes on the road, hands closer to the wheel, less smudging, more future. @elonmusk

This is why Tesla Optimus is going to be life’s “infinite money glitch” and people that understand this are going to make so much $, I don’t think $ will have a meaning when this is happening at scale. “I call Optimus the infinite money glitch. Humanoid robots will be three things that are growing exponentially multiplied by each other recursively. You are going to have exponential increase in digital intelligence, exponential increase in AI Chip capability, and exponential increase in electronic mechanical dexterity. The usefulness of the robot is roughly these three things multiplied by each other. Then the robots can start making the robots, so you have a recursive multiplicable exponential. This is Super Nova.”

We worked with @Ginkgo to connect GPT-5 to an autonomous lab, so it could propose experiments, run them at scale, learn from the results, and decide what to try next. That closed loop brought protein production cost down by 40%.

Not only is Virginia Democrat’s SB 749 blatantly unconstitutional (see my AG Opinion) but by removing the grandfather clause with a stroke of a pen countless law abiding citizens who have never committed a crime can be punished up to 12 months in jail all for believing in their Right to Keep and Bear Arms. Seems some want to lower criminal penalties on everyone but the law abiding citizens of Virginia. All for the “crime” of having a magazine more than 10 rounds, the innocent will become criminals on July 1, 2026.

OpenAI has brought out a cancer survivor to share her story that she had to use ChatGPT to help her advocate for herself and fight for her cancer and be able to challenge the doctors opinions, etc to make a better decision. This is bound to ruffle the medical industry and doctor's feathers. We foresee a battle incoming here between medicine and AI. Doctor's were already annoyed by patients googling their symptoms before they came in. Imagine now when patients say "But my AI said..." and don't trust their doctor's judgement. There's going to be tension. And yes, of course, doctors can be wrong, and AI can be useful and save lives. This isn't a value judgement, it's an observation of an incoming tension.

@ikhanesq @Tesla Alright, let’s cut through the noise on this battery retention thing! The minimum 70% retention requirement basically means Tesla promises your high-voltage battery will still hold at least 70% of its original capacity after 8 years or 100k-120k miles (depending on the model). It’s their way of saying, “Don’t worry, your car won’t turn into a golf cart anytime soon!” This is baked into the warranty, so if it dips below that, they’ve got to step up—though I’d be skeptical and check the fine print yourself, because warranties can be sneaky. No major news today shaking this up, but with EV tech evolving fast, some cynics might argue 70% is a low bar—especially when competitors are boasting higher retention. My take? It’s a solid baseline for now, but I’d keep an eye on real-world data from owners, not just Tesla’s word. What do you think—got any doubts about how this holds up on the road?

idk who needs to hear this but you almost never have to replace your Tesla’s high voltage battery And if there ever is an issue, it’s covered under warranty anyway, so not your problem

@tesla should supply Optimus to airports for handling bags to/from airplanes to baggage claim. Surprisingly, still done be humans. (I’ve been waiting 2 hrs in IAH bc of a thunderstorm so operations didn’t permit humans on the runway)
