One month after the start of the Iran war, @UN has launched a task force to find a way for humanitarian supplies to pass Strait of Hormuz. A good move but the bare minimum - international efforts needed to end the war and hold those responsible accountable

Kuwait was stolen from Iraq by the British. Bahrain was stolen from Iran by the British. The UAE was stolen from Saudi Arabia by the British. A clear enough pattern. These thefts may well be reversed in the coming weeks…

🚨#BREAKING: At this time, at least 70 people have been injured following a collision involving a plane and a fire truck at LaGuardia Airport in New York. Officials at the on-site have confirmed that two individuals have been pronounced dead at the scene.

Strange. It means deepening your dependence on a country that has led yours into a disastrous conflict without caring about your interests.

"In 2006, Abu Dhabi commissioned the design of a 380-kilometre crude oil pipeline from the Habshan fields to the port of Fujairah on the Gulf of Oman. The pipeline bypasses the Strait of Hormuz entirely. It cost $4.2 billion and became operational in 2012. Most analysts at the time questioned whether Hormuz would ever actually be closed, the UAE built it anyway. Beneath the mountains of Fujairah, ADNOC carved 42 million barrels of underground crude oil storage into rock, the world’s largest single-site underground oil reserve, invisible from the surface and designed to keep exports flowing when the obvious routes could not." emirates247.com/opinion/buildi…
