One thing is for sure: It’s not ‘98 & ‘99 anymore when you can go to #Kosovo 🇽🇰, massacre an entire village and cover up the bodies. This time around #Serbia 🇷🇸 is caught with its pants down. Live on video 📼 for the world 🌎 to see. Drone-time!

A Serbian pilgrim testifies: “…we were robbed by those armed people who normally did not communicate with our believers at all. At one point, KFOR came inside to legitimize them, but I don't understand why they completely ignored the armed group that was still there with guns…”

If the criteria for EU sanctions for #Kosovo was escalation by "forcefully" placing mayors in Municipal buildings, what is the penalty for arming a Militia to start a full scale confrontation (which has already claimed five lives)? Time for quick corrections!

How can the 🇪🇺 return to dialogue, after Vučić literally said to the Russian 🇷🇺 ambassador today, that the international community (so basically EU + US) helped to comity „ethnic cleansing“ in Kosovo? This is not only a lie and an insinuation, but also a huge breach of trust.

In October 2018, on the sidelines of an OSCE conference, Borrell met with the Serbian FM and former Milosevic protege, Dacic. Borrell emphasized his support for Serbia's position on Kosovo: "I conveyed Spain's support in the dispute over the status of Kosovo's territory."

Kosovo police display the vast cache of weapons, ammunition, and equipment seized in the aftermath of yesterday's Serbian terrorist attack on Kosovo police officers. Note also stickers bearing the name of the NATO-led KFOR mission.

Now that we have three sequencing proposals made public, I did a very basic visual presentation of their sequencing! Judge it for yourself which one is more balanced!

1 week later: * 705 emails sent, 0 replies from MEPs received * @JosepBorrellF, @MiroslavLajcak and @GertJanEU still in office (only a few known individual statements on Twitter) Vucic's hate speech continues EU's and US's appeasement continues STOP this - NOW !!!
Kati Schneeberger 🇪🇺@KatiSchneeberg1

I sent this email to all 705 MEPs. I'm curious to see reactions and whether there is still a democratic majority in the EU Parliament that stands up for democracy and peace in Europe. Who will support the resignation of @JosepBorrellF @MiroslavLajcak and @GertJanEU and who will not? *** Honorable Members of the European Parliament, you have democratic rights of control in your function. Please use them to guarantee democracy and peace in Europe. The measures announced against the Republic of Kosovo are not only a scandal and damage the credibility and reputation of the EU, they also endanger the security of us all. There is pressure on the Republic of Kosovo, which is implementing democracy and the rule of law, as we expect from a democratic country that wants to become a member of the EU. The real aggressor and perpetrator of the escalations and brutal attacks on NATO peacekeepers, on the other hand, is being appeased. This is perpetrator-victim reversal. In this way we strengthen autocrats and nationalists and weaken democracy and the rule of law. This policy of appeasement has already not led to the desired result with Putin. In fact, the opposite is the reality. We are now painfully experiencing how this appeasement policy has failed and encouraged an aggressor instead of stopping him. Now we are seeing a war that we never wanted to see again on European soil. With the appeasement policy towards Vucic, we risk the next bloody escalations and more deaths. We must not allow that to happen. The implementation of democracy and the rule of law is never a provocation. These are our European values, from which we expect to live in peace and prosperity. To secure this, we must stand up for these values and not betray them by stroking autocrats and punishing democrats. I call on all of you: Call for the resignation of Commissioner and High Representative Josep Borrell, Special Representative Miroslav Lajčák and Director-General Gert Jan Koopman. Their decisions endanger democracy and peace in Europe. They are obviously not independent and do not make decisions in the spirit of our European values. We must not allow this. There is an urgent need for people in these positions who represent and protect the values of the EU. We need representatives at EU level who represent the interests of the citizens in Europe. And these citizens want peace and democracy, not another war. Decisions concerning Kosovo affect all of us in and outside the EU. They decide about war or peace in Europe. And that a war in Europe affects us all, even if it does not take place on our own territory, we are currently experiencing with the Russian war of aggression against Ukraine. I sincerely hope that in the European Parliament the defenders of democracy and peace still have the majority, compared to those who support autocrats like Putin and Vucic. Help to STOP these sanctions against Kosovo. Help to STOP the Appeasement of Vucic. Kind regards

Absolutely appalling. Criminal groups controlled by Serbia's regime carry out another brutal attack on Kosovo journalists reporting from northern Kosovo.

If Kosovar Police Officers have been kidnapped by Serbian forces which illegally entered Kosovo, this is a very serious escalation. It would warrant a significant sanctioning by Western powers who have not held back from sanctions and criticism of Kosovo for far, far less.

Mr @JosepBorrellF, so you want to sanction a country whose #police officers are lured out by an armed civilian and then kidnapped by units of a foreign state, but appease the country that executes such crimes outside its own territory? Resign before you do more damage. You are a danger to democracy and peace in Europe. We need courageous people who defend our democracy, not strengthen autocrats. Bye, bye Josep Europe has to stand with #Kosovo and defend our democracy
