Dan Kaminsky was this legendary security researcher and privacy advocate, like genuinely one of the best hackers in the world. He was famous for finding a critical flaw in the entire DNS system that could of broken the internet. In 2011 he decided to take a serious look at the Bitcoin source code because he figured it was probably full of holes. Like some anonymous person releasing financial software had to have screwed something up somewhere right. So he started attacking it, looking for vulnerabilities, the kind of stuff he did professionally. He found like nine different potential exploits, ways to flood the network, break the validation logic, mess with timestamps, stuff like that. And every single one had already been quietly patched. Quietly without fanfare, before Kaminsky even looked. Satoshi had apparently thought through attack vectors that only a handful of people in the world would have even considered. Kaminsky came away genuinely shook, he gave interviews about how whoever wrote this was goated, like not amateur good but deeply deeply sophisticated. It's weird because Satoshi usually gets talked about in these mythical terms but this was a concrete case of one of the best security minds on earth trying to break the thing and finding out someone already anticipated him at every turn. Kaminsky died in 2021 and never found out who Satoshi was. So basically one of the only people actually qualified to evaluate how good the code was tried his hardest to break it and just couldn't.

He informed me that Nicolás Maduro has been arrested by U.S. personnel to stand trial on criminal charges in the United States, and that the kinetic action we saw tonight was deployed to protect and defend those executing the arrest warrant
This action likely falls within the president’s inherent authority under Article II of the Constitution to protect U.S. personnel from an actual or imminent attack

All these media outlets started lying about Tesla 20 years ago, but people still bought the cars. So 15 years ago they started lying about Elon. It made me so angry that I would call them up on their lies, but they didn’t care. They increased their lying. What is surprising, recently I actually met someone who I thought was quite smart, and she believed their lies. So, there are dumb people that they can still influence. X followers will continue to tell the truth, or they will be corrected. I’m so proud of Elon.

• Buy fewer clothes, buy better clothes
Prioritize natural fibers (cotton, linen, wool, silk). Quality over quantity. Fewer impulse buys, more “I’ll wear this for years” pieces.
• Move my body consistently
Not perfectly. Not punishingly. Just consistently.
• Hit my protein goals 75% of the time
Progress over perfection. Enough to support strength, energy, and brain power.
• Write more code than I consume content
Goal: 100,000 lines of code in 2026
• Build more than I explain
Less discourse. More shipping.
• Protect my attention like it’s an asset
Fewer open tabs. Fewer yeses. More deep work.
•Rest on purpose
Recovery is part of the plan, not a failure mode.

In 2016, @elonmusk promised this exact accomplishment would be done in 2017 and for a few years, he insisted that @Tesla was just "months away" from doing this. Elon and Tesla eventually gave up on this promise.
8+ years later and an independent Tesla owner makes the trip!
The good news is: yes, FSD is that good! As a daily FSD driver, this is very believable to me.
The bad news (for $TSLA shareholders) is that this shows you how bad Elon is at estimating! Take his words/promises with a MAJOR grain of salt.

I am proud to announce that I have successfully completed the world’s first USA coast to coast fully autonomous drive! I left the Tesla Diner in Los Angeles 2 days & 20 hours ago, and now have ended in Myrtle Beach, SC (2,732.4 miles) This was accomplished with Tesla FSD V14.2 with absolutely 0 disengagements of any kind even for all parking including at Tesla Superchargers.
