And the fastest way to burn through that trust is to project absolute confidence, silence critics, get caught being wrong, and then issue the correction in a whisper months later or never at al. Do that often enough, and eventually they will create exactly what we have now: a country that instinctively distrusts official certainty, even in moments when the authorities may finally be telling the truth. That may prove to be the most damaging legacy of the entire pandemic era.

Hi friends, please be praying for me this morning as I prepare to meet my doctor this afternoon and will be bringing up my chronic issues and asking him to help me get some answers and pursue a potential diagnosis so I can improve my quality of life. This is scary for me as I’ve been down this road in the past with no success and a lot of hurt and shattered hopes. Ultimately my hope is in the Lord but I do hope and pray that this doctor will care enough to help me find some answers so I can live with less pain and not feel so incapacitated by my body.

Now that we’re on “Vay-Kay” at an Air BnB, I’ve really experienced first hand what it’s like to have zero essentials in the kitchen. To make spaghetti is not as simple as buying pasta, sauce, and meat for $15. I also have to buy olive oil, S&P, sugar, coffee, wine, Saran Wrap, milk, eggs, mayo, mustard, bread, everything! It cost me over $250 to make Spaghetti. Would have been much, much cheaper to just get burgers in town. Who can even live this way! 🍝 🍷

Clearly you don't know me. I live in a RURAL Appalachian County with 28,000 people. We have THREE data centers. One is a bitcoin mine owned by Chinese nationals. One is small. But... The third one is a gigantic hyper-scale data center. It uses more power x5 than the entire consumer base than the county. It has caused our utility rates to go up, it's caused us to look at the number of hospital beds we have in our ICU unit and review our VOLUNTEER fire depts should something happen. I've been writing and discussing this for more than four years.

Have been working on a fiction book for 15 years that I wrote freehand but my penmanship is terrible and I couldn’t find anyone willing to type it out. They have been sitting in a box in my attic since before covid and time has not been great to the pages. That’s only problem number one. The other problem is the notebooks got mixed up. A few months ago I took one picture of a particularly messy page and asked AI to transcribe it. I was amazed how good the result is. Next test is to see if it can figure out the order everything goes. I also rewrote a few scenes several times. So I have to figure out which version is best. I was planning on working on this after my birthday in March but the iRan war broke out and I was too busy. But the biggest question AI can’t help me with… do I have the courage to publish it? Regardless of the answer, pen and paper is an excellent way to limit distractions and if AI can’t transcribe my chicken scratch… it can probably handle yours too.
