@CJMENews This is so accurate. Everyone in education is trying to do what they can for their students but the stress is real. Physically many deal with added health issues. Family time wasn’t addressed. It is impacted greatly during the school year too.

@classroomqueen @CJMENews @STF has been at the bargaining table for a whole year. At some point there cannot be a continuation of the disrespect and lack of willingness to negotiate. Frustration about missing the finals of a sport is one thingBUT there are many going without supports on a DAILY basis.

@CJMENews But she’s not angry at the provincial government. She also has interesting priorities for students, teachers and schools. Does she put this amount of effort into supporting education?

Today, Education Minister Jeremy Cockrill called on the STF to call off its job action this Thursday and Friday so Hoopla can go ahead. Don’t take this away from the kids. Let them play.

Always read the fine print when reading government documents. There is always a ‘cya’ clause.

Once again, a “deal” is reached with the SSBA who, just as a reminder, has been unable to achieve an sort of sustainable funding from the government AND is on the same side of bargaining as the government. Basically, they made a “deal” with themselves and agreed it was good.

@formyeyesonly75 @SaskTeachersFed No one other than my family sees the overloaded marking bag that I take home to do in-between family obligations. Nor do people see when I come in on the weekends or later in the evenings.

@SaskTeachersFed My front row seat tells me that 90% of the teachers in the building I’m in arrive from 8:40-8:50 & leave from 3:35-3:45. Our parking lot is empty by 4:00pm most days. Then from June 28-August 28th there’s no vehicles. Christmas , Easter, Feb break. Again no teacher vehicles.
