Launching your startup on a new Twitter account will flop. Here’s what to do instead: • Launch on HN, Reddit, ProductHunt, TAAFT, Uneed, TinyLaunch, etc. • These platforms don’t care about follower count • It’s fast and usually free Then: • Share the results on Twitter • Grow your audience • Leverage it for your next launch Winning is how you build momentum.

Don’t do this until you made $10k with your startup: > hire > google/fb ads > redesign > registering a company > outsourcing > more features > refactoring > start a new project > VC funding > events > dark mode > conferences Why:

These AI tools have become so good that you can have a reasonably competent personal financial assistant. To make this easier, we just launched Kite's Model Context Protocol (MCP). MCPs are a new way for AI systems to interact with real-world services like trading accounts, for example. With MCP, you can securely connect your @zerodha account to an AI assistant like Claude and do a variety of things like get portfolio insights, plan trades, backtest strategies, build personal finance dashboards, and much more. For example, the screenshot shows an example of a personalized dashboard that can be built using Kite MCP with your Zerodha account data. All of it is free, just like Kite APIs. We are optimistic about this new technology at the same time cognizant about the potential risks. To quote K from a recent post he wrote about MCPs: "Strictly from a user perspective, it feels liberating to be able to access services outside of their walled gardens and bloated UIs riddled with dark patterns. It moves a considerable amount of control from service providers to users, but at the same time, it concentrates decision-making and mediation in the hands of AI blackboxes. What about errors and failures with real-world implications that occur in the midst of AI orchestration across critical services? How would those be debugged and traced? How would accountability be established? Will regulations and governance models emerge for AI-mediated automagical actions across services? Whether the long-term implications of MCP’s viral, cross-cutting spread will be net positive or not, is unclear to me." Check the links in the comments.

How to build your first $10K MRR AI/SaaS web app... ...and become financially independent in 2025: [b2b SaaS edition] Step 1: Pick a web AI wrapper / SaaS idea: • Don’t overthink. Inspiration is everywhere • It's best to base yourself on an existing CRM/software/service that doesn't fully solve your problems • Study mid-size/large-size players to see what others pay for • Verticalize existing SaaS with a twist • Pick a vertical where you have the most expertise • Or one where you're most interested about • One feature from a big CRM can be enough • Big arbitrage currently in custom websites/crms for boring niches • Ship fast, find problems, discover new startup ideas. Keep shipping. Step 2: Pre-Build Distribution: • Start building in public on Twitter/LinkedIn • Start POV build in public vlogs (IG/LinkedIn/Tw/YT) • Warm up ProductHunt account (10 mins a day interacting) • Warm up 2x Reddit accounts (15 mins a day) • Warm up HN account • Ask good friends to create PH, HN, Reddit accs • Post about everything you're doing/building, there is no downside only upside to this • Twitter should be n1 priority but build all the other text social accounts daily. At least 2/3hrs a day • Get an Instantly account and start warming up for cold emailing, good to always have a cold email sequence running in the background • Don't use AI for writing tweets or posts. Only for proofing and as an assistant Step 3: Learn to Code: • Learn just enough to push you app live • Skip uni and bootcamps => watch YouTube / Learn with Chat / Cursor • Download Windsurf/Cursor and start to vibe code ASAP • Build and ship new feature every day • If you get stuck on a bug, go for a walk or a run. • Don't be weak don't give up Step 4: Launch your first SaaS (asap): • Do a 12 apps in 12 weeks challenge • Build in 1 or 2 weeks or less using templates • Hard paywall / no trial / no bs • Find a good .com. Don't be weak, don't go .co or .so • Prompt everything from logo, to assets to LP images. Use AI to the maximum then see how much more you can use it • Forget about your social life, it'll just make you poor Step 5: Distribute: • Tweet 3x a day, comment on every relevant post • Post 2x a day on Reddit • Launch on HN, launch on PH • Learning to go viral is essential, a first boost of traffic will validate on discard your SaaS/AI app • Forget about SEO it doesn't matter unless you already have paid users • Forget about paid ads (they're for the weak) • DM and cold email get the first paid user at all cost • Distribute for a week: if nothing happens, head to the root of your repo and type "rm -rf" Step 6: Iterate • Repeat Step 1 to Step 6 • Don't listen to others "success stories" or take any MRR/charts you see on Twitter seriously, everyone's inflating/lying • You only fail when you give up • Don't give up, you're going to make it Never been easier to make a $10k MRR app with ZERO previous experience and no VC fundings

How to get your first 100 users (even if you suck at marketing): You don’t need to be a genius. You just need to be relentless. Here’s the no-BS way to get your first 100 users: 1. Launch everywhere. Product Hunt, DevHunt, BetaList, Peerlist, AppSumo, Indie Hackers, Dailypings, etc. If it allows you to list your product—LIST IT. 2. Post on socials like your life depends on it. One post won’t do sh*t. Do it 100 days in a row. Copy what went viral. Tweak. Repeat. 3. Stalk your competitors. See where they’re listed. Submit your product there. Manually. Or use a tool. Just do it. 4. AI + SEO = free traffic. Spin up blog posts with ChatGPT. 50 solid ones can move mountains. Get that domain rating to 15+. 5. Run some damn ads. X, Google, Facebook... even Bing. Optimize it once, then let it run. 6. Cold DMs / replies. Find your people. Be short. Be real. Be helpful. 1 sentence pitch. No spam. This is how the internet is won. No secret. Just consistent, boring work. And boom—100 users. Then 1000

🤖 AI engineer essential end-to-end workflow 1. use o3 to create a detailed plan 2. create a PRD from the plan 3. use task-master to parse tasks from the PRD 4. use windsurf to generate code to complete the tasks 5. ALWAYS write tests and make sure your features work 6. use repo prompt or *redacted* (sharing more soon) when you run into hard problems that require precise problem solving and large context 7. launch your project on vercel 8. write about it on the internet and tell people how it can solve their problems
