The techniques are what’s horrible (especially in the automotive industry!). The counter point to what you said is that poor techniques get used over and over again and measurement, as inaccurate as it is, especially in CRM software, exacerbates the situation. Our approach is to strip all the bad habits and reformulate based on proven methods and actual tracked results.

A lot of sales experts will say, whatever you do, do not say that you are "just following up." (I agree, not ideal.) But what's worse it, not following up at all. In fact, we've got to stop shaming people in way that if they don't use the perfect words or approach or whatever they shouldn't do it at all. Then they get paralyzed and do nothing. People need to fail. Learn tough lessons. Then they figure out what works.
