@pard1143 Thankyou for service Colonel but by validating such biased press freedom rating which has no scientific basis you prove that like your leader, your hatred for Modi has morphed into hatred for the country.

Watch this clip carefully. Three people. Two Hindus, one Muslim. A comedy show called 'Teen Taal'. Khan Chacha, through his self-deprecating humor, describes his dip at Har Ki Pauri. And he makes two observations, almost in passing, that should make you stop. One: He removed his taweez before entering the water. *"What if someone objects... the way things are now."* Two: He paid via UPI. What if his Muslim name showed up. The room laughed. He hid his identity. Twice. At a river. To bathe. The thing that gets me is, he's done this dip before. Many times. He never had to think about any of this before. That's the new thing. Not the river. Not Khan Chacha. Just this quiet new math he does now before stepping in. Amulet off. Name hidden. Don't give anyone a reason. And the way he tells it, light, funny, unbothered on the surface, you can tell, maybe he's made peace with it. Which is somehow worse. Now, I get the room. I get the affection. I get that comedy has its own language and you don't stop every joke to make a point. But here's what I can't get past. He is the powerless one in this story. And he is the one making fun of himself. He is doing the work of making everyone comfortable with his own discomfort. Packaging it so nicely that the room can laugh and move on. And the two Hindu men, who clearly love him, I'm not questioning that, they just... laughed along. Warmly. And moved on. Just one line. That's all. "Yaar, Ganga kab se sirf hinduon ki ho gayi? Ganga-Jamuni mein bhi aadhi Ganga hai." Or anything, really. Any small moment where the joke turns outward instead of inward. Where it pokes at the thing creating the discomfort instead of just cushioning it. One funny, throwaway, irreverent line that tells the Muslim man watching at home: Haan yaar, this is wrong, you shouldn't have to do this. That's it. That's all I'm asking for. Because somewhere a Muslim watched this clip and recognized every single beat. The taweez coming off. The half-second before the UPI payment. The quiet calculation, am I too visible right now? He laughed, because Khan Chacha is funny and warm and the joke lands. And then the clip ended. Maybe it's too much to ask. Maybe in this climate even a throwaway joke feels like a risk. Maybe I'm romanticizing what comedy can do. But I also think, what is the point of humor between friends, on a public platform, if it doesn't do this one small thing? If it can't, just once, say I see what's happening to you, and it's not okay? Khan Chacha made it funny. He did the hard part. All they had to do was to put the hand of humor on his shoulder.

@narendrajm @RShivshankar @BJP4India The other sides chases muslims votes, keep them as as their captive votebank, that is the main reason of polarization on top of that they are way worst when it comes to managing the economy & creating infrastructure. Its about choosing the lesser devil.

@narendrajm @RShivshankar If you call today's life a struggle you have not seen the days of Congres rule where the inflation was in double digits and corruption was a routine. It's not that BJP is a saint, their are allot of issues but they are better than the other side, which is the unfortunate part.

@amitkilhor It is not about being big or small, GDP, population, poverty, or wealth. It is about a country's sovereignty, dignity, and respect. If you are educated enough, you will understand. But if you are like a 5th-grade-failed Prime Minister, then there is nothing more to say.

@Nagraj_G_Baggon @Iyervval @narendramodi @HardeepSPuri It's partly because of the earlier profits that India insulated it's consumers for nearly 2 months, its not sustainable indefinitely, as the losses are massive. If we don't want to suffer shortages at the pump, the price needs to increase gradually.

Why? All state refiners BPCL, HPCL, IOCL sat on record profits when crude hovered between $25 and $65 for almost 7 years. Plenty of profits accrued and reserved as per filings with the exchanges. Not a penny reduced when crude prices fell. Not a penny reduced when ethanol blends were thrust down forcefully. Surely one year of absorbing losses won't hurt the OMCs and the government. Can't accept the logic that developed nations raised prices - they also quickly drop prices when crude falls.

My sincere request to @narendramodi and @HardeepSPuri - PLEASE start raising the cost of fuel. The current situation of absorbing cost is untenable given the following • the current calibrated allocation of fuel and gas, means the market is not deciding where allocation goes. Ergo the profitability of producers and refiners gets affected • current prices make it impossible to explore the possibility of acquiring fuel from new sources - the economics don’t work out. It was fine in the short term, but given how long the blockade is stretching out, these prices are impossible to sustain. Moreover supplying countries will also find greener pastures willing to pay higher prices. • the massive growth of fuel processing and distribution infrastructure since 2014 (doubling of import terminal, piping, customers, distributors, even sources) demands a return to market economics, else it becomes unsustainable. • literally every other major economy without exception have increased prices and not allowed the government to absorb the shock. Prices have gone up in other countries by around 100 ₹ per litre and diesel is selling in some at 225 ₹ per litre while petrol in Hong Kong is selling at 295 ₹ per litre. • indian manufacturers have had enough time to factor in the additional costs since the outbreak of the conflict • our refineries running at peak capacity is not good for the machinery and all of them running at peak capacity at the same time, increases the risk of failure and put us in an extremely vulnerable strategic situation • artificially low pricing is hampering a market driven movement to renewable alternatives. Like we studied in 6th standard CBSE civics, price ceilings have disastrous long term consequences despite being necessary in the short term as a shock absorber. The gulf blockade is the new normal - the economics of fuel has shifted, the prices need to reflect that new reality. Else the current situation will not just have a cascading effect on refiners and distributors but also on the entire economic situation replete with infrastructure failure and shortages. Please consider this a humble request, in the interests of fiscal prudence. I realise I’m asking for a lot from you - this being an obviously unpopular move. I am begging you, just as you absorbed the prices initially, please absorb the short term unpopularity so that we maintain medium to long term economic viability.

@its_Shaji_Syed @praveenswami Abuse, standard Pakistani response when exposed. Facts 1) Pak is member of BoP along with Israel. 2)Only retards will seek clarity on troop deployment without it being under consideration. 3)Pak cannot run independent foreign policy till it's deptended on US backed IMF bailouts

Now that Pakistan is a super-duper-vital American ally: Why hasn’t the immigrant visa freeze not been lifted; Why are tariffs much the same as for India; Why is the ballistic missile programme heavily sanctioned? Would be great to have an expert explain why this is.

@imarunrawal @praveenswami Resorting to slurs concedes the argument, Arun. Pakistan hasn’t sent troops to Palestine, nor joined any “Board of Peace” killing Palestinians. We maintain an independent policy no ties with Israel, consistent support for Palestine. Disagreement isn’t dependence.

@praveenswami Vital ally doesn’t mean client state. Visas, tariffs, and sanctions reflect US politics, not our alignment. Pak pursues independent defense policy, economic access on merit. We engage US, China, alike. Mature nations have disagreements. Alliance means coordination, not obedience.

Any act of war or aggression by India will not be tolerated by Pakistan or the international community. The illegal suspension of the Indus Waters Treaty (IWT) is not only a violation of an agreement but also an offense against human rights and nature. This water rightfully belongs to Pakistan and is intrinsically linked to the Indus civilization. No country should be able to veto this matter.

Asim Iftikhar Ahmad, PR of Pakistan to the UN
Earlier today, I handed over a letter from the Deputy Prime Minister/Foreign Minister of Pakistan to the President of the United Nations General Assembly. The letter highlights the grave implications of India’s illegal suspension of the Indus Waters Treaty (IWT) for regional peace and security, as well as its serious humanitarian consequences. It urges the Security Council to call upon India to fully restore the implementation of the IWT in all respects, in line with its international obligations. I also drew the attention of the President of the Council to the baseless propaganda campaign launched by India against Pakistan at a time when Pakistan is engaged in mediation efforts in the interest of international peace and security. I further pointed out that the Jammu and Kashmir dispute, a longstanding item on the Council’s agenda, remains at the heart of persistent instability in South Asia, underscoring that lasting peace in the region cannot be achieved without its resolution in accordance with relevant UN Security Council resolutions and the aspirations of the Kashmiri people.
