@izzykento I don't think this question is being asked in good faith. Outside of a birth and breastfeeding, a father can do anything a mother can do, but we respect mom's impact. A good father is like having good health insurance, you don't really recognize the value until you don't have it.

I never understood this because genders are not monolithic. So the idea that parents are preset into roles because of their sex doesn’t make sense to me. Fathers can be nurturing and mothers can be disciplinarian. Like we’re so much more complex than that guys

Women shouldn’t raise kids alone. Kids listen to men more. Raising kids alone causes stress to women. When a woman is stressed, she can’t be nurturing. If dad is around, women can be nurturing instead of being angry/screaming all of the time.
