Trump just signed an order to quadruple beef imports from Argentina, and Texas ranchers are furious. It won’t lower grocery prices, but it will undercut family cattle operations that have held on through drought, debt, and tough markets. The liberal media wants you to believe that the SAVE America Act will prevent 21 million Americans who don't have the proper documents from registering to vote.   This claim is RIDICULOUS.   We have voter ID in Texas & have options in place for people who don't have IDs. The only reason to oppose voter ID is to make it easier to CHEAT & the Democrats know that.

Not even your republican constituents want the Save Act. If you make that vote to appease trump thinking it helps your reelection, you will get primaried. Vote no on that bill. @JohnCornyn

This week, I learned that I was uninvited to this year’s National Governors Association dinner — a decades-long annual tradition meant to bring governors from both parties together to build bonds and celebrate a shared service to our citizens with the President of the United States. My peers, both Democrats and Republicans, selected me to serve as the Vice Chair of the NGA, another reason why it’s hard not to see this decision as another example of blatant disrespect and a snub to the spirit of bipartisan federal-state partnership. As the nation’s only Black governor, I can’t ignore that being singled out for exclusion from this bipartisan tradition carries an added weight — whether that was the intent or not. What makes it especially confounding is that just weeks ago I was at the White House with a bipartisan group of governors, working with the administration on reforms to lower energy costs and strengthen grid reliability. We proved in that moment what’s possible when we stay focused on outcomes over politics. As Governor of Maryland and Vice Chair of the NGA, my approach will never change: I’m ready to work with the administration anywhere we can deliver results. Yet, I promised the people of my state I will work with anybody but will bow down to nobody. And I guess the President doesn’t like that.

Rep @juliejohnsonTX Ive called your offices & haven’t gotten an answer. Can you l explain why you introduced this bill? I defended you regarding it by citing “solutions that require congressional action” as the underlying reason. But it’s not making sense. So whats the reason?

On this Christmas Day, I still don’t understand how these two haven’t found a home yet. I’d take them over any back in the state. If they got 35 carries a game, they’d be Gatorade and MaxPreps Player of the Year for the state of Texas. We’re fighting for our kids to get into schools — cut the film on. I’m starting to question some of y’all’s eyes.
