₹95.72 to a dollar today. That’s not a “global headwind.” That’s a verdict. - Worst-performing currency in Asia in FY26. - 9.9% slide in one year. - ₹90,561 crore in FII outflows in 2026 alone. - Net FDI has gone negative. Brent at $126. And Modi is still out here talking about “5th largest economy.” 5th largest economy; whose currency has cratered ~30% since 2014. Whose foreign investors are fleeing at double the pace of 2025. Whose current account deficit is widening. Whose own Economic Survey quietly admitted the rupee is “punching below its weight.” You can fake GDP rankings. You can fake growth numbers. You cannot fake the exchange rate. The market has spoken. Every time you exchange a dollar, Modi’s decade of economic mismanagement is right there; ₹96 staring back at you. “Vishwaguru” whose currency foreign investors don’t want to hold. Let that sink in.

If the Karnataka State Government permits hijab in educational institutions, then Hindu students should also be allowed to wear saffron shawls. This was the demand raised by students in Karnataka when the hijab controversy first erupted. Though the High Court had banned hijab in educational institutions, holding that it is not an essential religious practice in Islam, and the matter is currently pending before the apex court, the Siddaramaiah Government is determined to revive the controversy, leading to law and order issues.

@piyush_trades Disagree.... Rupee is fallimg because of flying crude prices and gold. Yes FIIs selling has impacted it minorly but don't attribute it to just that. U seem frustrated, we all are but let's support with whatever we can do at this moment. Yes taxes must go down but thats different.

Don’t be misguided. The rupee isn’t falling because the innocent common man is buying cooking oil or gold for his sister’s future. The rupee is falling because FIIs have sold ₹2 lakh crore worth of Indian stocks in 2026 alone and don’t intend to stop anytime soon. Instead of asking innocent people to struggle in public buses, please stop your rallies, come to the office, and abolish STT, LTCG, and STCG on an urgent basis.

In 2024 itself, our government had placed Karnataka’s concerns on record: NEET is unfair to rural and poor students, weakens school education, and takes away the States’ rightful authority over admissions. The cancellation proves that those concerns were real and rooted in the interests of students. This is the latest in a long series of paper leaks and exam failures under the Modi Government. Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan must take responsibility and resign. We demand a time-bound investigation, strict punishment for the guilty, immediate clarity on the fresh exam schedule, and restoration of States’ authority to conduct such entrance exams. #NEETExam

Middle class here. Always voted BJP. Many of us criticising the NEET fiasco. That said, BJP much better than INC overall. Also we have no expectations from RG. Hope that helps!

Kalaburagi Rotti, a product deeply rooted in my region’s identity and food culture, is now reaching global markets. I recently flagged off the first export consignments of Kalaburagi Rotti to Australia, USA and Canada. Export volumes are expected to reach 10,000 rotis per month each to the US and Australia and 5,000 per month to Canada. Around 1,000 women from over 100 local Self-Help Groups are today part of this growing ecosystem. Over the last two years, our Government has worked systematically to build the Kalaburagi Rotti brand by providing 150+ rotti-making machines at subsidised rates to women SHGs and entrepreneurs, facilitating CSR support and enabling packaging, labelling and branding support. Kalaburagi Rotti has also been available on platforms like Swiggy, Zomato and Amazon. This initiative is helping create stronger rural enterprises, enhanced incomes and greater economic self-reliance for the women of my district. A matter of great pride for all of us!
