Government sponsorship into @Makerere and other Institutions of higher learning needs to be reformed. The district quota system should dominate with 75% of all admissions and the national merit system 25%. Science courses should be made deliberately available at 50% of district quota admissions. This way Ugandans will develop interest in rural schools and stop the haemorrhage of would be wealth creation resources into fees. In today’s plenary, I spoke for the ordinary Ugandan who sent me to Parliament. Our Education Must Reform. @ObothOboth @Thomas_Tayebwa

VIDEO: A rare rear view of a section of outgoing Parliament Speaker Anita Among’s sprawling residence in Kigo, where detectives and joint security operatives continue with investigations. Information gathered indicates the property has separate basement levels — one designated for parking, while another lower basement reportedly contains a gym, sauna and cinema hall. The footage zooms in on investigators and security personnel moving within parts of the facility during the ongoing operation. Visible on the first floor is a red-carpeted guest reception area leading to what sources described as Among’s office space, while a third-floor section is said to have restricted access reserved exclusively for her, according to one worker at the site who requested anonymity. The residence is also fitted with an internal lift system. Beyond the main compound, the property includes an additional newly developed section that, as of May 17, was being leveled ahead of planned beautification works. It is further alleged that a Rolls-Royce linked to the politician is parked within that section, although this could not be independently verified. @DavidAjuna1 takes you around the neighborhood of the embattled politician whose political and public life has taken an unprecedented turn over the past several days.

Moses Kalangwa stood up in court and told my relatives and their lawyers that the only person that they can report him to is only God that no court in Uganda can do anything to him
