@breakfastclubam @pinkycole She’s lieing. A creditor would not do that and why would they not go to court? It wasnt the hoa either. Everything is documented. Then when the girl said the name of the company she said yes thats the creditor when before she said she didnt know if it was the HOA.

As an entreprenuer, she should know businesses have expenses & income minus debt is your true profit. Revenue never matters. She pretends to be a good entreprenuer.

@honey_leee I had my first at 32 and I’m currently 37 and pregnant but will give birth at 38. My husband and I waited to be more financially flexible. Im thinking I may even have a 3rd next year if all goes well.

@WifeMamaHome This is encouraging. I didnt even find out I was pregnant the first time until I was 4 months because I had no symptoms and currently I am only 12 days pregnant but I have gotten so much round ligament pain in my belly I never got before.

While I’ve only given birth to 5 babies and I have breastfed them all to plumpness and health - and while I’m only 1 woman out of billions, I would like to reject the “each pregnancy gets tougher” narrative. I can’t say the same, every part about it got easier each time.

@SarahHOC @immutableenigma @mom_of_littles Do whatever you want. The school washed to put my husband on meds and my youngest would qualify for needs too. I don't agree with medication except for extreme cases. We all have some type of neurological issues in our brains IMO and medication doesn't help us regulate.

Son is displaying some pretty severe ADHD behavior along with his sensory processing stuff. Pediatrician gave me an evaluation to fill out. Nurse called me back today. Here’s how the convo went.
Nurse (super nice): so Dr said it does look like he’s showing some early signs of ADHD. Dr wants to repeat the evaluation in November after he starts school so the teacher can get to know him and fill out the eval.
Me: okay and what if we’re homeschooling?
Nurse (super rude): uh. IS that what you’re doing?
Me: yeah that’s why I said that
Nurse (even more rude): okay well if that’s the case then this (the ADHD) doesn’t even matter
Me: …….
Like what the heck?? Does ADHD only affect kids negatively when they’re in public school? I hung up the phone after she said that.

I plan my entire work schedule around my son’s homeschool co-op so I can be fully present when he’s home.
The tradeoff? I never really get time to myself.
Today, for the first time all year, our schedules didn’t match. I’m off work… and he’s at co-op.
What should I do? 😀

Look at adults in society. Personally seen & researched the damage putting young kids on meds does. To each their own, I refuse

@immutableenigma @sboutelle21 @mom_of_littles We homeschool. It doesn’t automatically erase the need for meds w/some kids. Also, hormones are a killer for ADHD. I want my child to thrive and if meds help along w/parenting, OT, EF coaching, etc. then that’s what is necessary.

@moriah_bridges @Lurker01234 @mom_of_littles Jesus your comment is extremely ignorant. No you don’t need permission but a diagnosis helps you understand the challenges and how to overcome them. DR’s role is to help support. You all are basically saying homeschool parents shouldn’t get support.

@moriah_bridges @Lurker01234 @mom_of_littles No. You’re misunderstanding. I never said the eval is for an IEP. DR’s should give alternative solutions, not only IEP’s or meds. If DR’s are actually doing their jobs instead of pushing an agenda, they can still diagnose homeschool kids & tell moms how to support their kids.

@immutableenigma @Lurker01234 @mom_of_littles Soooo you’re undermining your own point. If the pediatrician’s office isn’t going to assist with changes in diet in physical activity, anyway, and you yourself admit, and the eval is for an IEP, then it’s pointless to get it in a homeschool setting.

Dyslexia & adhd have a lot of similarities where it’s indistinguishable in some kids. How is she supposed to know how to best support her kid? You people really just say anything

@immutableenigma @moriah_bridges @mom_of_littles But you don’t need a dx to incorporate those types of accommodations into home school. There are tons of free resources and books on how to manage adhd that you don’t need a dx to access.

@mom_of_littles I have adhd & an adhd kid. It’s not fake. However, physical activity does work. They’ve done over a dozen studies on adhd kids & physical activity. Particularly swimming helps a lot. Michael Phelps has adhd which is why his mom put him in swimming when he got diagnosed at 9.
