Amazon syncs your cart by storing it centrally on the server .. not on the device. Every add or remove updates the backend. All logged-in devices stay connected (WebSockets/push). When one device changes the cart, the server pushes updates to others in real time. Cache + DB handle scale, versioning avoids conflicts.
