@simonw might be missing something, but why are we not running LLM agents under a separate user and controlling them like any other process via user and group permissions?

Important reminder from Reddit here of the risk you're taking when you run Claude Code with --dangerously-skip-permissions "I found the problem and it's really bad [...] rm -rf tests/ patches/ plan/ ~/ - See that ~/ at the end? That's your entire home directory."

Today in timezone madness: Lebanon had a last minute announcement of DST postponement. The Olson database complied. Now there is a dispute if it happens, and *parts* of the government reversed it. The country now has two timezones concurrently depending on who you ask.

🤔 Has anyone written about the difference between #django's `unique_together` versus the newer `UniqueConstraint`? If not, there is a need for a good article about it. UniqueConstraint can execute a Q() but is it a better default than unique_together? #uniqueconstraint" target="_blank" rel="nofollow noopener">docs.djangoproject.com/en/4.1/ref/mod…

@willmcgugan Say you had a vim session with a bash file running in a terminal, and you wanted take the current line the cursor was on send that text to a different terminal and have it press enter / execute it. How would you do it?

@willmcgugan I think it would be cool demo of the project and also useful for developers as offline documentation. Probably better to ship it as a separate package. I am not sure about how much of an overhead this “feature” may bring. Mb if tui docs could reuse md files it will be feasible

Polishing the code reference for Textual. I've never found these kind of extracted docs to be particularly usable in the past. Typing only made that worse. This uses `mkdocstrings` does a reasonable job, and is typing aware. Although I may make changes to the design.

Today we received reports of a phishing campaign targeting PyPI users. This is the first known phishing attack against PyPI. We’re publishing the details here to raise awareness of what is likely an ongoing threat.

@adamwathan What about restricting `@apply` to only utility classes from tailwind and registred plugins? People will still have the ability to shoot them in a foot, but at least there will be more hoops to jump to achieve buggy behavior.

Here's an example of some `@apply` bugs that show up when you try to innocently (and understandably) use it for extremely complex situations without realizing the complexity: play.tailwindcss.com/umP5RqgsuW?fil… It causes me physical pain to spend the five figures it'll cost to fix this 🤕

I can say with absolute certainty that if I started Tailwind CSS over from scratch, there would be no `@apply` 😬 The behavior is outrageously complicated, everyone struggles to build the right mental model of what it's supposed to do, and it encourages bad CSS architecture.
