On April 9, 2020, Officer Breann Leath of the IMPD was shot and killed in the line of duty. She was well known around the department and loved to serve the citizens of Indianapolis. Her son, her family, and her friends will be in our thoughts and prayers.

At tonight’s meeting, IMPD Cadets and Junior Cadets received their new uniforms. Junior Cadet Sergeant Steven Brinker was also promoted to the rank of Lieutenant. Congrats  Steven for all of your hard work!

The IMPD Explorers year end Christmas Party was a blast. Everybody had a great time, and a few awards were handed out. Can’t wait to see what next year has to bring!
