Cruelty doesn’t always look like violence. Mostly, it looks casual. A joke at someone’s expense. A nasty comment. A thoughtless reply. When cruelty becomes casual, it becomes invisible and that’s how it spreads. Every careless word costs, empathy, trust, humanity. Small acts of cruelty add up. So do small acts of kindness. Pause before posting. Refuse to dehumanize. Being kind in a cruel world isn’t weakness. It’s resistance.
