Only ~41 theaters worldwide still have working 70mm IMAX film projectors capable of screening the actual 15-perf film Nolan shot. That’s why the post lists 26 US + 7 Canada + 3 UK + 4 EU + 1 Australia.
Most “IMAX” screens are digital or Laser and can’t project the real film prints or the full 1.43:1 expanded aspect ratio on those giant screens. The image in the original post shows exactly why the format matters.
The Odyssey is getting a very limited 70mm IMAX release for that reason.

We're rolling out a small tweak to boost visibility of your posts to your mutuals (people who you follow back). We noticed this data was missing from the algo and it made your friends appear less in your replies. This resulted in the reply section feeling more like a battleground with people you don't recognize. This should also help clusters form around interests more easily, which many people have asked for.
