According to reports by Daily Mail, his parents made him do the most chores at home than his siblings as the middle child which includes taking care of his disabled half brother. On the day he killed himself, he had been slapped on the head by his stepfather, Kyle Townson, for letting his disabled half-brother hurt himself on a trampoline.

The regeneration effect feels almost like a thesis statement on the era as a whole; mistaking bombast and flashy visuals ("What if he shot regeneration beams IN EVERY DIRECTION?!") for substance (it looks terrible compared to previous regenerations).
